TxSioux
Does the paint actually hold up or will it scratch off? They look really nice. The paint is very even.Susan.

jakalex
Would you mind if I asked how you painted them. They are so beautiful!I do not mind at all. I used regular spray paint for the colors and applied a top coat of krylon acrylic gloss. The acrylic prevents the paint from washing off the glass. I taped around the bottom and painted them with the glass upside down.I think the pink one looks best. It has a very light coat of color. TxSioux
Would you mind if I asked how you painted them. They are so beautiful!I tried this w/ Krylon Satin Finish spray paint, got it at Hobby Lobby w/ a 40% off coupon. The can said it was for inside/outside use for wood, metal, glass, wicker & more. It looked pretty burning, but I wasn't happy w/ how it looked just sitting there. It was really easy. I used a cardboard tube (from inside paper towels) to balance the container & make it easy to spin as I sprayed the paint. I also recommend wearing a glove, cause that stuff sticks to nails really well!! Susan.
SatinDucky
Oohh! I just love those colors! That's a cool idea painting the outside but not the clear bottom part
kandlekrazy
Wow, looking at the pics it looks like you painted them from the inside, but I guess the top coat gave it the shiny look. I'd like to see one in black, I know it's not very "Spring" but it is my fav "color"
