BruceCarvesWax
because people might think Im all talk! Been a while since I have posted any so here are a few to get things rolling. First one is a "rustic" or "country" angel. It was fun to make, had to take a paint brush with wax and spackle the outside with wax after I did the dipping and before I carved it. I could not redip the end candle in clear wax like I do on the other carved ones or it would have smoothed out the rough look too much. (ok I tried it once and it looked like crap)
BruceCarvesWax
well that pic was a little big even for my 19 incher at1200x so I hope these others are smaller. Hand carved and shaped candle with resin figure attached

debscent
Bruce, thank you for sharing. My dad used to buy candles like that when he went to Myrtle Beach every year and it was a treat to see what "new design" he would come home with. He passed away 3 years ago, and I have to say, looking at your candles made me smile. Thank you.

topofmurrayhill
I wish I could be in your house right now helping myself to those beauties. Don't mind moonrose. She's just got this habit of dressing all in black and sneaking around in the middle of the night with a crowbar. But otherwise she's harmless.
