Scented Rainforest, Honey and Sandalwood. They started out rustic but dramatically improved in appearance when I applied the truly magical crackle finish - hooray for Donita! Donita Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Those are soooooo pretty.....they look good crackled and would look equally good without it....I just think it is fun to experiment. I did 5 different additives yesterday....getting ready to photograph them and see how they crackle. I will post my results. Very interesting. I had little pieces of tape everywhere yesterday because there were 10 candles involved and I didn't want to mix them up or have the grandkids do it. The experiment also shows how the structure and color changes with different additives. This might be helpful to a lot of newbies and others looking to try something new. Candle Man Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Those look graet!That's just one way to save a candle if you don't like the results you were going for in the first place.
