candlesprite7
They look beautiful! They both remind me of sunsets or rises...I bet they smell awesome!
Jeana
Those are really nice. They look just like rustics. I asked this in the other thread but I'll ask again. At what point are you pouring the second, or third layers? My palm pulls away fairly early as it cools. I wouldn't want the new wax to drip down the sides. Margaritamama
Very pretty candles - love the colors and layers. Well done!!!!!I wouldn't want the new wax to drip down the sides. The idea is to fill the void, but not allow any wax to go above the previously poured wax, and down the sides. Does that make sense????
TwinMom
They look great... I agree they remind me of sunsets and relaxation....Jenn PS. Do you have to burn those in a container? Do they drip being veggie wax
Mtngrl
Too bad we can't discern greater detail of your pix. It seems to me that making a rustic using palm wax is kind of a waste since the rustic appearance would presumably mask, to some degree, the feathering of the palm. On the other hand, it could add an interesting counterpoint to the texture.Do you have to burn those in a container? Do they drip being veggie wax Palm comes in either pillar or container waxes. Groovy Chic
Wow, I've never thought about trying a rustic with palm wax. Those look great and I love the layering you did. Did it retain any of it's feathering or crystal finish? Excellent idea you had there
