  1. Thanks for responding, but I'm looking for frosted metro jars. So far....nothing, but again, thanks.:smiley2:
  2. Good morning everybody. I wasn't sure where to put this but, if anyone knows where I can purchase some 8 oz. frosted metro jars with lids, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Cynthia:)
  3. Any hardware store should have them in stock whether its Home Depot, Lowe's or your local hardware store. HTH
  4. I guess my "peeps" aren't ready for the holidays just yet. So far, I've been pouring Jamaica Me Crazy, Cool Water, Clean Cotton, Sweet Temptations, Ginger Peach, and Sweet Pea. No pumpkin, no eggnog, no nothing!
  5. Sorry about that Geekrunner. I did pour that particulary f.o. on last Fall and no, I wasn't too happy with the throw, but after a few weeks, I did burn one and it was very loud. So, at this point, I'm not sure how long you're willing to wait but it does take time to cure. HTH.
  6. No, I don't think so. I order Millcreek and its 415 too. Just a name brand. HTH.
  7. Thanks for the info. I'll try cutting them at that size. Yeah, the flame is can grow from 1 1/2 inch or a little higher. When I tried the lx-22, it didn't quite get the melt pool I wanted so I just use the 24's. So I'll cut it 1/4 and see how that does. Thanks for the help and have a great weekend. Cynthia
  8. Hi everybody! I'm having trouble with the flame of the LX-24's. They work very well (melt pool) with my natural palm wax 3 x 5 pillars but no matter how short I cut the wick, the flame grows too high (at least in my opinion). Has anybody else encountered this? I cut the wick at least 1/2 inch or less. TIA Cynthia
  9. Dee you are too funny! Thanks for sharing your story. It's funny that I was soaping on the same day, and yes, my husband was talking to me too and guess what? While I started a beautiful green swirl, I happen to look up and saw the oil on the scale. So, I did what any other trooper would do. I just plopped it all back into the crock, added the oil, colored it throughtout and put it back into the mold. All the while, seething and mumbling because I knew this was gonna be a good swirl. Oh well, as it turns out, it's actually very pretty. Husband, kids, dog, telephone, neighbors, in-laws, go figure. lol
  10. I feel like I've been around the moon to Jupiter and back. LOL Life has thrown me some curves and boy have I struck out on a few and hit a few. Right now, my bases are loaded and I'm waiting on the Pinch Hitter. You know Who I mean! After taking a hiatus, I made some soap two weeks ago. I tried the red oxide you sent me and it's so purty. I'll take a pic and post it later. How's everything with you? Your family?
  11. Ooooo, so pretty Nanette! Yep, I'm waiting too! LOL
