hank7fd Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 here's my attempt at making these cute little pies. i'm not too creative at packaging so anyone with valuable information as to how to display these would be accepted with appreciation. Quote

SatinDucky Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Looks good as far as I can see. These old eyes don't do well with small pictures :undecided Quote
dcroome2005 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Looks great .. I should be receiving my pie kit something soon. Can't wait to dive into them and start working them :-) Christina Quote
hank7fd Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 thanks to all for the compliments.i am new at working with gel but it's alot of fun (and challenging). making these pies are time consuming but well worth the rewards. i have found that making my own fruit and crusts gives me the ability to play a little more and be creative without a lot of expense (buying embeds from other suppliers).it's well worth it though...thanks again! CranberryGirl Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 That looks Great!!!!! I bet it smells good too!!! Quote
maryann Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 That looks yummy!! They sell packaging for that size pie that it would like cute in. I don't make them so I can't help you w/ what suppliers carry these clear containers, but they look just like the kind you get at the bakery. Quote
hank7fd Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 interesting comment made in previous post...something to the affect of looking like a pie at a bakery.i actually sell them to a bakery in my home town. they sell like crazy there (and everywhere else). most people i have talked to don't actually burn them...they smell enough, even with the scran wrap left on.thanks for all your wonderful feedback!
