I used to come to this board all the time but life gets so busy I havent been here for quite awhile. also we had some overhauling done on our computer and I lost some of my files and I was wondering if anybody here has the link to the jpeg optimizer that helps resize photos so you can put them on here?If so could you send it to me please? those bears are really cute! I love the sunflowers and the color combo. I do wonder though about putting a candle in the bears lap because some people (customers) are not real smart and would burn the candle under the bears nose and I think that could be a fire hazard. I for sure would put something in the warning label about removing the candle from the bear before burning. I put hangtags on some of my pillars and on the back I put a "reminder" to please remove tag before burning candle. Just a thought.

thank you for your comments... the wax I use is 4786. I am not really sure what "brown" things on 2 of the tins is you are asking about? maybe the ivory colored rosebuds?

Here is a pic of the wedding favors I have been working on. there are four colors and scents to choose from and when they are all together it looks really cool. they had tags with the bride and groom names and wedding date but the original date got changed so we just took off the tags that were already done and the bride said to not do tags this time. the scents are pink= flowering dogwood green= pearberry coral= peach, magnolia, raspberry purple= lavender the colors look a bit different in the photo but they are more pastel looking in real life.

I havent heard of this company around here yet but I'll be watching for them. I did however get to meet the Gold Canyon candle guy.....He came to my booth last weekend and asked if I made all my candles. Then he said "we are the other candle people." Umm Ok...the "other" candle people.....uhh cool. so who is that? then he tells me gold canyon and I just said oh. but then he actually seemed to be bashing that company cuz his wife was a distributor but now they have cut her out and people who sell go straight to the company or something like that, and left her stuck with a ton of stock so that is why they were selling at this show. All I said was if she liked selling candles she should try to make them herself. he pretty much left after that. It was kind of a strange conversation over all.

I was looking at posts and saw the one of spiced cranberry revisited and I thought wow great minds think alike cuz here are my spiced cranberry ones that I had done for this last weekends show.

here are a couple bears I made for the Fall Festival I did this weekend. the first bear was "designed" by my 13 yr old daughter. We call it Booboo Bear. You cant really see them in the picture but he has a bandaid on his forehead and one on his left arm, and his right arm is in a sling. the other bear is self explanatory. I thought the show didnt go as well for me as it had in the past years but when I got home and added it all up I actually had a really good weekend!! And I got to meet Michi !! We found out that we live close to each other and she came to visit me at the show. She is so sweet and I hope we can get together to talk candles a bunch more!! Thanks for coming down yesterday Michelle, it was great to meet you!

I have all my stuff in the garage. we only have a one car garage so we weren't parking in it anyway....Hubby let me take over and now he jokes to his friends about how he now only has a little corner with a few tools and such and the garage is no longer his. But he also points out that "my" garage makes money where his didnt!!

you can almost smell them just by looking at them....the color is perfect! very beautiful!
