chappy6107
well hey there OldGlory. I have been reading up on this & soap making all over the intraweb. lots of useful info and apparently lots of test.test.testing 123! lol I think I may start out with soy container wax. not sure what brand yet, but there are a couple suppliers in driving distance so I may try to use one of those brands since I could save on shipping. I have read good things about at least one of the suppliers (Lonestar) nothing about the other supplier (southwest candle) Edited December 18, 2014 by chappy6107

I need to pick a wax though and I think they carry different lines so I may need to post for some comparisons/reviews soon.

HorseScentS
Hi, Chappy! I rescue dogs. I have 9 seven-week-old Catahoula puppies right now, but don't want them to be traumatized "Christmas puppies," and I believe they benefit from staying with mama and litter for about 12 weeks, so I haven't started adoptions yet. Welcome! :-)

chappy6107
Hi HorsescentS, That is awesome. I am going to have to look up that breed as I dont know that one. But we got our puppy @ 5 weeks and I too believe they benefit from staying with Mom longer.
HorseScentS
Chappy, I'm so glad your dog has a loving home! Mama dogs don't even wean their pups until seven or eight weeks, so many breeders consider six weeks too young, but five??? Wow! Thank God your dog has you in his life. chappy6107
yes, the breeder was ready for the puppies to go. and if we didnt take her then someone else was inline to get her. She is a white boxer.
