lsbennis
I tried my hand at a watermelon soap, this one is scented with CS Watermelon and a touch of SC Gin Martini and a touch of poppy seeds. Thanks for looking :smiley2:
emilyspoppy
These look "cool". I was planning on trying to do a watermelon scented M&P soap, using three colors, plus some "seeds". You've inspired me to bo it.Dave

craftsbychris
Looks great! I just made watermelon candles green and red. I like the touch of white!
ProudMarineMom
What color did you use to get that nice watermelon red?
Candybee
Those are very cool! Love the melon colors. Are they CP? I'm also wondering how you got the great red color.

soapbuddy
That's CP? Cool! How did you get such a red?
lsbennis
Thanks everyone., yep, its CP, I think I just got lucky with the color....lol I used Select Shades Violet Red and NG's Neon Pink. The addition of the neon pink seemed to make the red more vibrant. I'm noticing as it cures that more of the pink is starting to show up. B@BlissStreet
I am so intrigued; I hate Watermelon anything...except the real thing, and I think your mix might work for me. Lovely, and such gorgeous color!

Candybee
I've heard Select Shades were good but I did not know they were that good! That red is totally awesome!!
lsbennis
@Candybee...I like the Select Shades but in this case I really think it was the dab of NG's Neon Pink that I put in there that really added to the intensity of the color. I really like NG's Fun Soap Colorants http://www.naturesgardencandles.com/candlemaking-soap-supplies/category/3333/Soap-Colorants.html
