  1. I thought they HAD to charge what the company told them? Don't know much about them except there are lots of reps here in my area..always a new person at the shows.
  2. The name made me think of NG's cornbread scent. I have never tried it tho.
  3. oh, lol must just be on west coast....sorry no help to you
  4. dunno about replacement canopy but bi-mart recently had new ones on sale for about $60.00
  5. I really like NG absinthe but haven't been able to sell many.. Not crazy about patch, but I KNOW lots of others love it so I just plug my nose and pour. lol
  6. Thanks for the info...love your description of green tea lol...don't think it's supposed to smell like that. I haven't ordered any yet but I know what to stay away from now.
  7. One of my biggest sellers was a request from a friend too. She asked for a special blend...I played around with it, came up with something I liked, sent her a sample...she has never ordered it...but LOTS of others love it. (Go figure)
  8. I've just recently added clamshells to my line and they are flying out the door! People are sooo glad to see I have those "things like scentsy". And then when they see that mine cost less they are even happier. I am not selling as many candles either but it may be the season..people don't want to have a burning flame when it is so hot outside? dunno.
  9. Great idea about the metal counter..I'll add that to my wish list
  10. Beautiful redraider! I used to wish for my dream home..now I just want a dream workspace, lol
  11. I DO love meegga desk! i can totally see that working for me.
  12. Sounds like my dream work area..how bout posting a picture?
  13. That is a good idea Deb. I could use MY portable table and the rest of my family would not need to touch them. Thanks
  14. okay mostly venting here..I just finished a large (at least for me) order of candles. I started at 9:30 this a.m., and what with only three metal pour pots and a couple glass measuring cups it takes a while....The only place I have to make candles is the kitchen, and there was literally not an empty counter while the candles were cooling. My "home from college" sons got all pissy cuz they could not fix anything to eat. Blah blah.. I wish I had my own workroom...some place that my candles could cool without SOMEONE coming in and moving them...before they are ready to move. Any one else still working in the kitchen? How do you all cope when having to share space?
  15. Thanks nursenancy for the info..I may try some.. you are welcome kitn..I know we all need ANOTHER FO supplier (like a hole in the head)
  16. http://stores.ebay.com/UNLIMITED-WHOLESALERS/CANDLE-MAKING-SUPPLIES-/_i.html?_fsub=2101739018&_sid=92274008&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 They are pretty good price..just wondering if anyone knows anything about them
  17. Absolutely stunning! My favorite is the summer sorbet..or maybe heavenly...or apples & ...hmmm, lol
  18. oooh ooh I'd go just to watch, lol
  19. oops i see that you DID limit the scent options..good job
  20. Your pricing sounds right. My only suggesttion for you is to limit the number of scents you will offer them..that way you can get started making them before the orders come in.. When I did a fundraiser w/ school I offered 4 scents and made up a bunch of candles in those scents while the kids were out selling..then when orders came in I only had to make a few more. I know it may be difficult if u end up making too many..but that did not happen to me and it really helped with the overwhelming..GOTTA RUSH feeling. HTH good luck with your sale
