Have you tried clip binders & craft sticks? Two craft sticks on each seam with two or three clips. The sticks would help distribute the pressure evenly. This would not work unless the sticks were 100% flat. Anything flat would work but craft sticks are cheap & I couldn't think of anything else. HTH. BB&B has some beautiful ceramic tealight scroll warmers for $1.99. They are... 4 15/16 inches tall. 4 inches wide at the base. 3 3/4 inches wide at the top. 2 inches wide at the bottom of the melting area. Melt area is one inch deep. 3 3/4 inches from base to bottom of melt area. all measurements are approximate. They come in four colors. Colors are packed randomly in the case. Problem is locating in store without chips or breakage. BB&B gave me excellent customer service. I tried to get some in Dunwoody area. Clerk went to get some out of backstock for me & they were all chipped up. He offered to order & have shipped to my home. When I balked at paying shipping he eliminated the shipping charge. YEAH!! They arrived in about 7 days in excellent condition. HTH. I know why it is $20.00/case. It is legit. I am interested in the fo's for $10.00/pound. My concern is that all supplies have been stored in an UNairconditioned location & daytime temp have been in the 90's (high 60's and 70's at night). Does heat cause fragrance oils to degrade faster or is it just sunlight? Asked another supplier & was told heat (as in air temperature) should not be a factor in oil spoilage. Yeah, right. I use non Avery lables (I am using the round labels from Chele's ex) and the label specifications are not the same as the templates I had. I 'partially' solved my problem by using Design Pro and customizing a label template. I can only print 6 labels at a time (1/2 a sheet) or they runoff. I thought a dry spray would be the better deterrant. I sweat like a pig in the middle of winter. I'm researching for the most cost effective supplier for cyclomethicone at the moment. My reasoning.... Wouldn't a lotion sweat off? Think sunscreen....they have special formulations for waterproof ones. If you check the CDC's webpage on West Nile Virus...under mosquito deterrants...they mention how often the non-deet repellants have to be applied/reapplied to be effective (affective? Not MurryHill, but I thought I would throw in my 2¢. I picked up a Pyrex digital with alarm at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $20.00. It has a magnet on the face plate. It is hard to attach to pour/melting pots so I banded two skewers together to keep the probe from hitting the sides & bottom of the melt container. I did some research on other brands of thermometers with flexible probes & the probe is the first part to malfunction. I have not had a problem so far (about a year). I really like my thermometer. Here is a useful formula to determine the amount of wax you need for your available FO. [(amount of fragrance by weight) divided by (fo percentage load you use)] Example: you have .7 ounces of FO and you usually add 9% FO ppwax. (.7/.09)=7.78 ounces of wax. HTH. Donna
