really? I needed it a while back I have people who have requested it( after yankee discontinued) I used the fragrance finder and at the time only flying witch had it.. and it really sucked.. both in the bottle and in wax..
yup.. As soon as I saw that bath cookie recipe I knew it was crap:D eggs baked in there.. they bind it all together and it wont dissolve completely..dont bake it air dry, you could bake at low temp to DRY I suppose.. you still wont get a baked appearance... so I tinted it to make it look more like a cookie.. the ned reseult I got was similar to the OLD bath cubes.. remember those? Not quite as hard though..yet they may get harder they set.. try something else to be a binder... you have to have something to hold it together like the egg did...the best consistancy pre dry should be like that of wet sand..any drier and it wont shape , wetter and it will crumble later when you touch it.
you sound like me.. I just modified the old bath cookie recipe... the egg it in was only used as a binder in order to bake it.. but the cooking of the protiens is what made the old one so nasty and gloppy.. i finally got it down without eggs.
a lot stick with one scent..but complimetary ones are nice esp holiday themed ones. I don't know about peppermint with warmvanilla sugar(you could rename it though!!.. but maybe with cranberry, eggnog, hot cocoa, pumpkin etc etc
its strong.. good strong but strong.. I use 1/2 oz per lb in J223 and it does clear your sinuses! I have a lady who requests this mixed with green tea she claims it helps her sinus headaches..
I am wanting to play a bit with wax and making something more creative(bakery types) what wax do I need, to cut and model like clay while warm etc... I know I can do this with plain ole gulf wax.. but i want something that will throw and burn well. This is a completely different area for me.
hey I go to carolina candle.. I like it , the lady who owns it is very nice.. I had no idea about the one in Spartanburg!! I will have to make a road trip to find it soon!!

How do you begin..? when wicking a different container, and odd shape or special container, like a mug or something.. Do you start with wicking for diameter..then move from there?
