  6. Hi, I am and oldie.. who has returned after a long hiatus:cheesy2: . Life just gets too busy sometimes..I had a baby and just didnt have much time for the computer. reintroducing myself, I am Marie, I am a mom of 4 great kids, and a proud air force wife. we live in SC. I am a Chef, who decided being a SAHM was more important.. being creatively stifled at home I chose to save my hubby some cash by making my own candles, (I had an addiction) well 3 years later, I am still making container candles and tarts and novelties, and branched out into bath and body. I am a certified FO addict as well.. I just wanted to say hello

  8. Any of you ever make soap containing real chocolate , like cocoa powder...? If so, do you get a white froth on the bars.. it looks a bit like air bubbles but not that defined.. more FROTHY.. but its not, spraying with alcohol won't make it go away.. its almost like the natural froth youd see on a cup of hot chocolate...
  9. I just saw this today and was immediately thinking "how can I clone this":rolleyes2
  10. since you are fairly untested in various containers.. I would reccomend simple, smooth sided jelly jars 8 oz and 16 oz.. they are cheap and easy.. and might genaerate interest in your product, which as you refine.. you can attempt nicer jars.. I have been making container candles for 3 yrs.. have only sold jelly jars.. I have tried many other containers but for now sell what works best... and after 3 years am JUST NOW doing my first craft show:shocked2: .. I was comfortable selling on small scales for awhile and am now confident I have the quality for a wider market... good luck
