Hi mrsgrooms! Well I have never made hurricanes, but I have made grubbies! When you whip the wax to the texture you want, then you could dip the hurricane shell into the wax as much as you could without it getting inside of the shell. And then use a rubber spatula or fork to make it the texture that you want it. Just kinda pat at it with the fork or spatula til it looks like you want it to. I dont know with hurricanes if its ok to get grubby wax on the inside of the shell, so thats why i said just dip it enough to keep the wax on the outside of it, then use a rubber spatula or fork to apply more wax. Thats how I would do it anyway! Hopefully that helps!

i think i cant smell anything with vanilla either. Any vanilla i have tried...one from the scented bean, one from just scent...and some other, and creme brulee i cant smell them!

i love those, they are very pretty. I would definately buy them! I love those ones that have that corrugated or whatever you call it look to them!

Were they scented? if so how was the scent throw? i am interested in that wax, but hear they are a bugger for scent throw lol they are very pretty! nice job!

thank you so much for all your help! Well she emailed me back and said shes interested in regular and specialty jars...and also tarts. So, I told her basically...in more professional terms LOL ....that the minimum is $150.00 for the first and all reorders. And the minimums per item are that..jars are sold by the case...3 scents per case. and tarts are sold by the dozen (1 scent per dozen). My prices for wholesale were: Jars $50.00/case Specialty Jars $60.00/case Tarts $5.50/dozen I just took my cost and multiplied by two. And mentioned to her that payment is due upfront. And all that good stuff lol. So we will see if I hear back from her!! I am always worried once they hear the big wholesale mumbo jumbo that they will run for it LOL. Ok, so thats a start. I couldnt of done it without all of my sweet candletech buddies!!! :highfive: And if this one doesnt work out, there will be more. So I will just keep chuggin along LOL. Thanks for all your help!

Im just not sure what the minimums should be for votives, & tarts. Do you think $150.00 is kinda steep for a first order, and $100 for reorders, or would you start at $100? Thank you all of you!

BTW does anyone have a wholesale contract you wouldnt mind emailing me? And also what are the minimums that most of you all sell things at...like how many votives per scent...how many tarts per scent....do you all sell jars by the case? How do you all do it...so i can get some ideas. thanks!!

Just a few here and there around town. But jan or feb the lady at the hospital gift shop plans to buy wholesale to put in the gift shop. Would you guys do it? :smiley2: Well, unless there is someone kind enough to help me figure out how to do it frameless in the estore im using, than its staying with the frames lol. its easiest lol. I dont mind either way how it is, i would prefer though that it is the most search engine friendly. But whatever works lol. I dont have anything besides microsoft publisher. So I dont know how else to get it set up frameless without all the html mumbo jumbo lol. Thanks angela, i was determined to get it done! lol thanks to eugenia, she helped a whole lot too!

I got my site all set up and like the way it looks. However someone told me that i would get more visitors to my site, or more traffic, or it was better...or SOMETHING lol if my site was frameless. What is your opinion on this. I can switch to mode 4 in the estore im using and make it frameless. But I dont know all that html stuff. What do yall think. :rolleyes2 Thanks!

Hi everyone. Have you all seen those thick heavy type square shape jars at walmart in the craft section, they dont have a lid. They are square at the top, and the shape kinda tapers towards the bottom. Well, i was thinking about buying some of those maybe and trying them out. Anyway my question is....does anyone recommend these type or use them yourselves? They dont have a pid, so i was wondering how well will they cure without a lid? Is there any place to get lids for them? Whats your opinons on this type of jar? Thank you!!

Thank you satin! I have changed what i could so far, im still working on changing the font for the links on the left. Im not sure how to do it LOL.
