  1. Ummm, Wildwings.... I think I love you =)
  2. Hey Scented, I gotta ask what you think of the Snowman Balls? We started carrying it last year and it's done decently... not a big seller but it's been good. We even colored them BLUE so we can say "Did you smell the snowman's blue balls?" LOL
  3. Well thought we would get this going for the weekend here =) You know... since I'm still awake at this time... So anyways, in our pot this weekend will be more of the Christmas Samplers, doing some donut tarts (1st time), starting to get restocked at our market booth with our new tarts (clamshells), probably do some jars at some point... Think I'm going to pick up this mold I saw yesterday of these little T-Rex's that I just so want to do.. Not sure the scent but Ill find something.. Other then that... market all weekend and next week and working on press releases and revamping our brochure and starting to design our new logo too... PHEW! No wonder I'm still up at this time. Hope everyone has a great weekend and BE CREATIVE!
  4. Hope the administrator does something about it for you tomorrow! BTW, borrowed your pic there and posting as well =) Thanks!
  5. Heres an idea for ya: Stop by pretty much any dollar tree or even Micheal's and pick up a pack to 2 of the clear Christmas bulbs for the trees. (Not the light up ones but the decoration ones) and our wonderful friend Martha Stewart just came out with a line of glass paints that are glitter =) Get a few colors, paint brush and simply put their names on them, maybe a little snowflake or 3 and there ya go =) The paints are not to expensive, especially when your just getting a few colors.... Don't ask how I know this.... Not like we don't have the full line of just about every glass paint LOL =) Best of luck and mostly... have fun with it as I know you will =)
  6. Sadly there was no name or brand or manufacture labeled anywhere that I could find on the box. I can say it's a "candy box" but I also did some searching and couldn't find anything either... From what the Jennie (owner) said, she changes out the boxes with the seasons so there will be others.... So that to me means they get them somewhere.... Anywho, each of the bulbs weigh right at .5 ounces, so a good "sampler" size to try out and under the top layer (like candies) is the list of scents & colors so they don't get mixed up =) Oh and btw Sue, you got to get in line with Wessex first LOL
  7. Ok, so everyone else, thank you so much for your kind words of encourgagement =) I stopped back by the place today and they are not online at all... sorry... And I bought out all the boxes they had like this too LOL Only had 15 so nothing too big... But did find some other cute molds I will be doing soon too =) Now as for the sales... Our market is usually not open during the week, but we were this week. So today was a little slow but did sell one of the warmer/sampler packs and also a few other warmers, some glassware and of course candles/tarts too =) All in all the reception of these has been great! Everyone that has seen them just said how cute they were and I heard over and over 'OH, mom/sister/grandma/friend would just LOVE this" =) so I think I will be making the rest soon =)
  8. Exactly what we were thinking too =) Thanks!!
  9. Oh I so needed a good laugh Wessex and you sure hit the spot LOL Ill be sure to get them out to your right before Christmas =P
  10. Not that I am aware of but funny you mention this.... I saw on the other E site someone claiming a cotton candy was an "essential oil blend" I think we all know the truth....
  11. We shall see, we shall see +) Our market has been open all week (first time ever and for the next 2 weeks or till after the holidays), and taking them in today. Let me ask on price, we were thinking $12.95 for the sampler or $24.95 for it and a clear glass electric tart warmer. Good price or to low/high? Thanks everyone for your thoughts and well wishes!
  12. Very neat! I do want one now tho!
  13. Thank you both so much! Funny story about where we found these. Both of us have lived here (Ohio) for most of our lives and pass this place probably 5 times a week and never saw the sign LOL It's just a little chocolate supply store locally to us, don't even think they are online??? I'll check for you guys tomorrow (going back!) I was litterly a kid in a candy store... GET IT! =) Even the lady working said "You seem REALLY excited" LOL But they have the cutest packaging I have seen and the cost OMG! SUPER CHEAP, IMO I mean, these boxes with the clear lids of course were just $1.95. They have SO many molds I was just giddy =) Anyways, sorry for rambling on... 5 cups of coffee so far this morning.
  14. Ok, so I have stayed up all night because I was so excited to make these with our new wax were using for our tarts and just got them all packed up and ready to go =) Sorry for the half butted pic..... It is 3:30a here =) I do just love this package =) 12 different scents: Christmas Cravings, Holiday Pomegranate, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Christmas Cabin, Autumn Magic, Snowman Balls, Frosted Pinecones, Sleigh Ride, Spiced Cranberry, Christmas Cabernet, Mulberry and Mistletoe & Ivy.
  15. For us we took the plunge from double boiler to big daddy 50 lb melter from a deal we found on good ol craigslist. Its a direct heat I think they call it, not the water jacket one and got to say, we simply love it with our soy blend were using. Once we got this thing up and going.... that double boiler looks mighty small LOL But I do still find myself using it here and there for the smaller batches sometime... Best of luck on your search and hope our input helps you some =) Oh and it came from Candlewic if that helps too =)
  16. Yup, someone does =) http://www.man-cans.com/Scripts/default.asp
  17. After today, I need to restock up our clamshell tarts (many scents) and anything Pumpkin is still moving quickly too.... It's gonna be a long weekend, but that's a good thing =)
  18. Again a prime example of why we don't browse any of the E sites much... LOL Then again I guess it could be good therapy... they say humor is good for you, right?
  19. We get asked that all the time as well and our answer sounds similar to yours. Off topic a bit but I just had to say that living close to a supplier is the only way I know we could do what we do at our cost... I feel bad for those that have to ship wax and jars mostly... Really wax wasn't too bad but I checked on some jars recently and the shipping was almost the same as the cost of the jars! WOW!
  20. 65 x $4.00 = $260.00 100 x $3.00 = $300.00 Same profit? =P I had to do it, sorry LOL
  21. Oh I know =) And I agree, this is just a little overkill but what a prime example of some of the things that others will say to make them sound "better" then the rest... I should really just get back to listing things and not looking so much... Now I'm debating our price LOL
  22. Well darn it... I was trying not to "call out" anyone here LOL DAMN YOU GOOGLE! And yes, they were going for $3.00
