I used Authorized.net for years never had a problem. I think it could just be a supplier accessing their account from an unsecure mobile device with wireless connection.

I have been following all the threads about the stolen cc numbers...and now I am really confused. It seems that there are a lot of other issues. Can we narrow it down to the people who had problems recently (since February) with stolen credit card numbers and actual fraudulent charges. I am looking for people who used their actual credit cards (not Paypal) to pay on suppliers' websites. You need to look back where you used your cards at least 6 months ago and just post at what suppliers.

When I started the original thread I wrote that my 2 business card numbers had been stolen. While I used my MasterCard at a lot of places online I only used my Discover Card to buy candle supplies. I have used that card at JS and CS nowhere else. My Discover card was not linked to my Paypal but my MasterCard was but my Paypal account is fine...so the problem is not with Paypal. While the cc numbers were stolen 2 weeks ago I had not used the Discover card for 2 to 3 months and I had not ordered from CS since last August. Some people might have had problems coming from other sources but I am 100% sure that my problem came from the supplier.

It is not SKS I used my replacement cc 2 weeks ago and it is fine. I think it is either CS or JS. When reviewing where you have used your credit card you have to look all the way back to last Summer. Like I said before I had not used my Discover card in over 2 months and I had not ordered at CS since last August.

Yes, I was hit a few weeks ago and I had not used my Discover card in 2 months. This seems to be an ongoing problem and I am sure that the supplier is not aware of what is going on. Maybe it is time to do a generic e-mail and contact all the suppliers we have used.

I don't think so Amazon has had my cc number for years and I never had a problem with that card.

Yes, but in that case my personal card would also have been compromised and that is not the case. My Discover card was only used to buy candle supplies. Also this card had not been used since December 2010...and the numbers were stolen 2 weeks ago.

I posted that 2 weeks ago...both my business Discover and Mastercard numbers were stolen...the Discover was only used to buy candle supply online so I am pretty sure this is where it is coming from. Maybe we should make a list of suppliers where we've all used our stolen cards.

Didn't get the WSP e-mail yet but I got the Jar Store's e-mail...well they are already too expensive for me so that takes care of that. I use to get all my fo from WSP but over the years their prices have become ridiculous and I started buying elsewhere. I think JS is also going the same route. I can understand that suppliers have costs and that they are probably not selling as much as they used to and have to make up for that but so do we. Plus let's face it in this great economy many people are not going to pay $20.00 for a candle when they can get one for $5.00 in a retail store. Yes, I know the quality is different but many people just don't have the money.

Same here but my Paypal account is fine and I really don't think it is a Paypal issue...did you ever use the card on a candle supply website?

Not so stupid because I always assumed these sites did since I have been doing business with many of them for many years and never had problems. I never used Hootsuit and didn't even know what it was until I read in one of the post here. The only thing I can say is that I have a $1.00 charge from Hootsuit on both my credit cards and them large fraudulent charges. I guess the scammers tried the $1.00 charge first to see if the cards were good.

Some one got a hold of 2 of my credit card numbers. I use Paypal most of the time but I have used these two cards online. One card I had not used in a while and only use to buy candle supplies online, the other was also use to buy candle supplies online a few times. I am not 100% sure and I can't point the finger at one supplier but I thought it was worth mentioning because there is a possibility this might happen to someone else on this board. Please check your statements for a $1.00 charge from Hootsuits, both cards had this one dollar charge and appear within the last few days. My credit card company alerted me after the second major charge at an Apple Store and by checking my other cards I was able to notified the credit card company that I was the victim of credit card fraud as soon as I saw the $1.00 charge.

Yes, nowhere USPS does not care...I had a bunch of outgoing packages smashed last year no notices, no excuses and my customers expected me to make good on it. If it wasn't insured USPS doesn't care...my mail lady can't even deliver the mail to the right houses anyways it's like she doesn't know how to read...so what do you expect. I now ship most of my packages with Fedex their home delivery option is always cheaper than USPS and everything makes it fine. Plus their customer service is way better...

I got my sample a few days ago and use it in TN 70/30 CT is great haven't burned it yet.

NG has cranberry balsam and JS has something that smells exactly like balsam and berries ( I thought it had too much berries) but I can remember the name of it.

I was going to say QVC...I saw them at Walmart last week on sale I can't remember how much. Seems too nice to put wax in it.
