  1. Has anyone used Moonworks's Earthen Oak? "Bourbon vanilla liquor aged in an old oak barrel, embodied by cedarwood and patchouli, softened by amber and a touch of sandalwood" Sounds really nice.
  2. You can smell the honey, but also the lavender comes in also. I would have to say a little more honey. Its a nice relaxing scent.
  3. It does smell great. A different type of lavender scent with the honey in it.
  4. How does this compare to Candleberry's Hot Maple Toddy? A friend keeps asking me if I can make her one like theirs.
  5. Finally burned my Manuka and Lavender this morning. Had a great hot throw--smells fantastic.
  6. I have also wondered about that also, but would it be considered a fire hazard?
  7. www.weebly.com has templates and it is very simple to use. You can also get your own domain through them also and I think it's about $40 a year and no monthly fees unless you want Weebly Pro and I think that is $2.95 a month.
  8. You can also buy just the dispensing caps for different sized bottles.
  9. On their message board they said they will be adding new FOs monthly. So I am sure they will have other types also. Great to have another Ohio supplier!
  10. If you are going to make votives you may want to try GB416, I found a link where I get my wax (I use GB415 for containers) that suggest adding 5-10% of the USA (Universal Soy Additive) to the GB16 to make votives and tarts. I have only played around with the 444 a couple of times and could not get it to cool slow enough so it would not leave craters around the wick. I am sure someone here uses GB416 and can help you further. Here's the link: http://www.thecandlemakersstore.com/product/WAXSOY135A/Natural-Soy-135-416-Wax-1-pound-bag.html
  11. Candlescience The Candlemakers Store Fillmore Candlewic Elements Wholesale Supplies Plus Rustic Escentuals
  12. Thanks for the info! I plan of ordering from Elements and Rustic Essential/Aroma Haven soon, so I would give them both a try. It does sound different, but my mom saw something in a magazine about that scent and thought it would be good. I would think I would like a green, herbal type scent. Will let you know.
  13. Does anyone know who has a great tomato leaf and rhubarb? It sounds like a great combo. Wondering if I could find one that works well in 415. Or any good tomato leaf and ??? Thought this would be a great summer scent.
  14. There are a lot of samples of labels in the Candle Gallery forum.
  15. I don't use your wax, I use 415, but I think it depends on the FO and the percentage you use along with getting the right wick. As I have found out not all FOs work well in soy, some do great and others aren't as strong. And the cure time is important also. I cure my candles at least 5-7 days before testing. Some that I have poured are still sitting here waiting to be burned.
  16. Received my FOs today. The Meadow smells great oob. I was not sure that i would like it but you can definitely smell the fresh cut grass. Smells great. Hawaiian Breeze smells great also. I really like the golden rose, smells like an old fashion rose of my grandmothers!
  17. Island girl I have the olive blossom also, I haven't used it yet but smells great oob. Their irish moss is good too, I have poured it but waiting to burn it. The White pepper and clove just has a spicyness too it and it does have more of a cologne scent, but it just has something that says wow! To me it smells very sophisticated. Their white tea and linen smells great oob also. Fillmore's star anise is good too, great ht and ct. Candlebee-glad to know they have it in stock, I haven't had the chance to call them yet this week. I am going to pour it tomorrow or Friday!
  18. I do have to give the candlemakers store very high marks for customer service. I get a lot of stuff from them and they are extremely nice and helpful.
  19. Thanks aviator girl. I also have CMS's apple butter but haven't poured it yet...maybe tomorrow night. The orange vanilla sounds great, I will have to try it.
  20. The Manuka Lavender smells GREAT! You can really smell the honey. Hope it smells even better after 5 days! Cannot wait to burn it...this weekend.
  21. Thanks for the tip. Cannot wait to go smell it today! But I will wait to burn it until the weekend.
  22. I got a sample of this last month from Fillmore and it smells great oob. I am going to pour it soon and now I cannot find it on their website. Has anyone ever used this? Or knows if it was discontinued? I hope not because it smells incredible.
  23. I love their Pomegranate Henri Bendel type. It makes my mouth water. I also like their Japanese Pear and Ginseng, it is so clean smelling (I haven't burned it yet...hopefully this week!) Basil Nectarine, Orange Ginger and White Ginger Spice smell great oob but have not poured any. Oh and their Spa is nice also. I also use 415.
