  1. When I was testings different waxes I tested 464, 444 and 415. 415 did better for me and my surroundings. You have to also remember that 444 and 464 has other botanical oils to help with glass adhesion, less frosting and a creamier look. I found that I got better CT & HT with the 415 and also more FOs work in that wax than 444 and 464. Our range is anywhere from 6%-9% depending on the FOs and I have found that sometimes just a 1/2% more will make the difference in HT.
  2. Its working fine today. Have never had a problem with either one of my websites until yesterday, one worked fine the other not. But today thenigs are back to normal.
  3. Just curious if anyone else who uses weebly is having problems with their website not coming up. It goes to a white screen and i have to refresh the screen for it to come up.
  4. Since At Wix End is out again of their Grandma's kitchen, I was wondering if anyone who has used it would know of a very close match. TIA
  5. Does anyone know where I can find a dupe of Woodwicks biscotti? I have a customer that wants a very close dupe of it. TIA Their description: "The heavenly aroma of sweet toasted cookie dough with rich vanilla icing."
  6. I signed up October 12 and received mine today, and received the email about it being shipped yesterday.
  7. Thanks Joanna! That's what I thought but was not sure.
  8. What licenses do you need to do craft shows and a website. I am a little confused about this. Do you need both a Delivery and/or Transient license? Thanks!
  9. Uline has gift boxes that are made of 100% recycled paper and are made in the USA.
  10. Thanks for the update. I am really thinking about getting it and hopefully it won't be a long wait for the reader. I have heard that people have started receiving them. I have shows every weekend for the next month or so, so hopefully. i will also look at Intuits also. Thanks!
  11. Thanks everyone. I am VERY disappointed that they are both being discontinued. I did notice that the prices of both oils went up a few $'s a pound the last few months. Funny they would order more if they weren't moving. I will try them all!!!!!!!!! For the tobacco, I did a Google search and found a place called bulkoils.com that has a tobacco FO,has anyone heard of them and/or used them? Taylored Concepts will do a dupe, not sure if I need 24#'s all at once, thats an option also.....and the search continues...LOL
  12. Elements Sweet Pipe Tobacco and Noire Cedre Vino. I noticed they are on the clearance page so I thought I should start looking for replacements. I really love the tobacco (has no cherry so its a sweet, smooth oure scent of tobacco), and it sells very well so does Nore Cedre Vino which is a blackberry, sage and cedar blend. Its the complexities of these that I love and hope to find elsewhere. I see that Taylored Concepts has a Tobacco so i will order a sample of it, hopefully I will find one that does not have any cherry, vanilla etc in it.
  13. Thanks lsbennis, I will look into flat rate also.
  14. Thanks for everyone's input. I have been pulling my hair out...and staring at webpage after webpage trying to figure out shipping, box sizes, etc. I am considering, and probably have already decided on getting Auction Inc.'s Paid Shop Cart, since it can be integrated with Paypal, and can comes with a shipping calculator that I here is very accurate. I think USPS Priority will definitely will be an option, but am considering also UPS or FedEx. In the past in other businesses I used FedEx often, but we usually were sending document, not candles. I just want to make sure I am doing accurate calculations when it comes to box sizes, weight etc. What type of scale does everyone use to weight their packages? Sorry another question!! LOL
  15. I am looking to order shipping boxes for our online store. I am not sure as to which size boxes we will need. A little background: we have 3 oz melts, 12 oz jelly jars and 7 oz frosted tumblers in 3x3x4 gift boxes. What do those with experience with online retailing suggest as to what size boxes to order for shipping. I know there are variables such as quantities that people will order, etc. But thought someone might have some insight and suggestion.
  16. Looks interesting, it has peaked my interest also!
  17. Received a very fast reply this morning and they are replacing my order, now that is great customer service!! I am so glad that the suppliers I have chosen to work with have great business ethics!!!
  18. Received mine today, and what a mess. One of the caps was not on tight and leaked, and the zip lock bags had tears in them and were not sealed either. So they leaked on all 32 bottles, have a few labels that are off. They box was not dented, smashed or anything. Called them, but their voice mail said they are open Mon-Thurs. So will try them either tomorrow or Monday. But the good thing is they all smell GREAT!
  19. Mine will be here this afternoon. I ordered alot of the new FOs a couple weeks ago so i am getting the rest and a few more to try.
  20. Let your 415 cool more, 100 degrees is still too hot. See if your tops are better at 90 or even less.
  21. That's what I was wondering. But do you charge the wholesaler more for the handling of the product? Say if you charge them $6 for a candle at wholesale, do you then charge them $8 or more to do drop shipping? I am kind of on the fence about this, we have our on-line store launching in mid-September and we want to get all the bugs worked out with our e-commerce before venturing into drop shipping.
