  1. oh wow that's pretty much ALL the pumpkin scents too. Let us know what she says, when they will be back in stock
  2. Facebook Business page as well as group page here too
  3. So hubbs just called me and its a 2 lb slab. which isn't too bad. I still can't do the testing I would like to do with that. Oh well :/
  4. I contacted the website and spoke to Brad myself and they forwarded the request to Connie anyway. I just got confirmation it was delivered IN MY MAILBOX which means it's not big enough for me to test. I'm guessing it's a 1 lb. sample. Oh well, guess they don't want my business that bad to they??
  5. Same here. I label mine handcrafted just like I label my candles handcrafted - I pour soap the exact same way I pour candles, from a base. It's no different.
  6. I'm hoping so too. I knew some oils contained EO I was having a brain fart lol. Thanks Candybee! When no one else answers me you always do
  7. I always wait until they are just set up enough that the wax won't melt the sprinkles or they won't sink. Like when the wax is pliable. I would love to know where she gets those mini mini metallic dragees from. I dont think they are edible
  8. Ok so this may sound strange, my 1 year old this morning starting whining and getting a really weird red rash all over his face and body. It looked as though he was smacked in a bunch of spots. Just before that I popped in a Spiced Orange scent shot which FILLED the air, it was in the room next to where he was. I took him upstairs to his bedroom and his skin cleared up - took him back downstairs and the spots came back after about 15 minutes. Is it possible to have an allergic reaction like to a FO like this. There is no EO in it. And if so what does this mean then? that he has an allergy to citrus?? Any input would be appreciated thanks!
  9. LOL Tell me about it!!! We started ripping down framing and old wooden panels they had put up only to reveal an old billco door entrance that was loaded with construction debris and a 250 gallon oil tank. There was old plastic TAB soda bottles in there and milk cartons with missing kids on them so how far back does that date it?? We had no idea there was an entrance there to the outside because they built a porch over the outside entrance.. The house was built in 1851 so it's got all kinds of fun things we are finding
  10. My room is a LONNNGGGG way off from being done. We just moved into this house back in May and are slowly renovating. This is my future candle room in the basement.
  11. Yea she has a group page on Facebook that you need to join and then you email her the order when she announces a restock. That's how I just got my order a few days ago. Her tarts are very strong right off the bat, however I had Graveyard Pumpkin in my hot plate melter and it literally only lasted one day. It was 2 cubes. Filled the whole house for about 2 hours and then slowly faded to nothing. That to me isn't nearly long enough.
  12. I am so confused. I have been seeing all these scent blends that alot of businesses have been doing and they are all "Noel" blends. What on earth is the Noel? I have searched and can't find a scent called "noel". Like Vanilla Bean Noel, Pink Peppermint Noel, among others. What is so noel about it?
  13. Country bee ...I actually just received some of The Bathing Garden's tarts today that I ordered and they smell just as amazing as they look. Pictures are what sells the product initially, a quality product is what keeps people coming back
  14. Ah yes. One of our local mom and pop general stores carries these. There was also a woman selling them 2 stands down from me this past weekend at a show, plus 2 stands down from her was a Scentsy lady (ggrrr)
  15. Well Good luck with it!!!I hope it works out for you and remember....WATERMARK!!! lol
  16. not really. go to usps and order a bunch of the flat rate padded envelopes and boxes - all sizes they are free and they come directly to your house. I actually managed to get two 8 oz. JJ in a padded envelope LOL!! hey I offer free shipping right now and that was the cheapest route.
  17. I too have been in business since 2003 so I'm right there with you. As I said someone did this very same thing to me, and there was nothing I could do BECAUSE it was label design. I looked into it. I had to re-do everything. Extremely upsetting and I totally understand your frustration believe me. I actually had someone just this past Saturday snap a quick pic with their cell phone of one of my jars at a show and then take off. Like a close up of the label. My mom asked the girl if she was taking a picture cause she had her phone down real low on the table, she replied yes my mom asked why? she said to send to her friend, and then left. Unless you want to keep your product hidden in closet somewhere and not make any money, it's kinda hard to prevent someone from copying something of yours. I keep telling myself even though they copy it, they don't copy the recipe, what's on the inside of the jar or tube, that's what counts in the end.
  18. I would be upset too. To take it to the legal level though I think is a little much. I could see maybe if she didn't remove the said items then I would pursue something. but she took everything down and owned up to it. I would just keep an eye on everything, it could happen again (once a cheater always a cheater) and do the watermark thing!!! That is a must! Open all your photos in Paint and slap a text box on that sucker somewhere with your business name so its clearly visible and CANT be cropped out!! Who knows your pics could be elsewhere too. It happens ALL THE TIME! It happened to me too.
  19. You should really figure out what your cost is per melt and then do x3 for retail. If you go by what other people charge you may not be making any type of profit since others use different waxes etc with different costs. JMO
