  1. Yep, what she said. I love my mc molds, they're a breeze to line, and with that marvelous cutter...what more can I say?
  2. Check your local pool supply companies. They have it, usually in 50# bags.
  3. Wanda, Please go back to 'that forum' and bump your post. Just post saying no update, no contact or whatever. You need to keep that thread AT THE TOP! Good luck to you! I received my stuff today...after 36 days.
  4. Wanda, there is another forum that has a supplier complaint forum. This is where Soap Silly 'hangs'. I posted a complaint there on Monday night and was answered by email in 45 minutes. Pretty amazing, huh? It's worth a shot. I will pm the address to you, you will have to register (it's free) and follow the form directions. Wanda...I hope this helps you and any others.
  5. Try a sporting goods/outdoor store. I got my first one at Gander Mountain for $70. Yes, the coils are exposed, but if they are covered and *kept* covered there really is no fire hazard (uinless you crank the thermostat up too high). As for poking holes, I've never done it, but I do keep the lid on. I got the last two at BB&B a couple of weeks ago for $35 a piece.
  6. Did you ever receive your order or your refund? I am having issues with them too. Seems that it's SSDD with soapsilly.
  7. Hey, e. I haven't searched, but did that source you had for the custom box ever happen? I think I'd like something like that. Thanks!
  8. Royal Aromatics has it. My daughter says it is exact.
  9. Try warming the oil first in a container of HOT water. Try mixing it in with a whisk. These things seem to work for me, with heavier (vanilla type) oils.
  10. I'd be ALL over that. Call 'em every day until they email you a copy of the credit. Why give them free money? If you wanted to donate, I'm sure you could find someone more deserving.
  11. WSP's *sister* site http://www.fragranceandflavors.com/default.aspx offers free shipping on orders over $50. I don't understand why WSP needs to have *sister* sites that are duplicates of WSP, but on those sites WSP can offer free shipping, while gouging the people that purchase from their original site. I doubt that Deb cruises here. She's way too busy raising prices to make up the difference on her $6.95 shipping special. :rolleyes2 And, Noodle, I'm glad that you are happy with WSP. While they have some good deals, no deal is worth it considering shipping is usually 2 - 3 times the cost of the product. I'm sure that most of us buy in bulk too, we just choose to do it with someone who isn't making a huge profit from shipping while promoting the fact that they are having a special shipping rate.
  12. Unfortunately, I'll bet it doesn't last long.
  13. Yup, Carrie ran a coop and it was great!

  15. The turkey fryer will hold 3.5 slabs of wax comfortably (or 35 pounds roughly), possibly more. You would want to purchase the electric one with a drain spigot. Don't forget to melt a slab of wax first to pour into the fryer.
  16. Last I knew, Nu-Scents bought from DeGroate Petroleum. Why buy from the middleman? Depending on where you are, it may be even closer. http://www.degroate.com
  17. Wahoo! WTG girlie! You have awesome products! It is well deserved.
  18. Aroma Haven/ Rustic Essentials. It used to be from Soap and Candles. The vanilla portion does not discolor cp soap, which is a huge plus.
  19. I don't quite understand the math strategy here. I don't see how you come up with a $26.00 candle. (Not that it matters) They buy from you at $3.00 and sell for $12.00. That's the bottom line. $1.00 per candle profit really doesn't seem like much, but if you are able to mass produce and are happy with the arrangement, that's all that counts. Good luck with your endeavors!
  20. That scent would be here: http://www.2wwoods.com/disfragoils.html I also think that someone has some on the classies for $15 a pound.
  21. Call your bank and tell them it was an *unauthorized* charge.
  22. OK! I was just checking...thinking that might be the easiest solution. I see you did your research. :highfive:
  23. I use 50% votive and 50% container wax. Helps alot with the tackiness.
