  1. I think your labels are awesome! IMHO, I would put them on so you can read them as they are displayed. If you are going to display them on their tops, then I'd put them the opposite way. If you are going to lay them down in baskets, I'd probably leave them as is.
  2. I can get red, and if I use too much, burgandy. I love the stuff, I just won't tolerate the antics of the supplier, so when mine is gone, I will be looking elsewhere.
  3. I checked the dpswax website and Mimosa is not listed. However, you can email here info@dpswax.com and ask if they have any in stock. I know that this is where Nu-Scents gets their products because I have been there when they have done pickups. Perhaps DPS has some that is not listed on the website. Might not hurt to ask. I hope you find what you are looking for. Questing is tough.
  4. NuScents gets most of their stuff from DPS wax outside Joliet. With that being said, their customer service is not so great. I ordered 6 cases of 4627 when it was being discontinued, a case of palm and 6# of KOH from them. I spoke to them on the phone twice about the order. I drove 300+ miles round trip to get 25#'s of 4627. No phone call, nothing. I spent more $$ in gas to receive my *partial* order than it would have cost to ship. No apology, nothing. So nope, I will never order from them again.
  5. You could always replace some of your water with sour milk. It's a great way to use up the last of the carton. IMHO, I think that yogurt and sour milk add a creaminess/softness to the lather.
  6. If there are several things you are looking at buying, I believe that Jody gets most of her things from WSP. It might be worth sucking up the crappy shipping rates and order straight from them. That said, I've ordered once. Too long to ship, and she sent me a note that I owed her 54 cents for shipping that she would add on to my next order. :rolleyes2
  7. Do you have a small shower? Crank up the hot water heater, put the lid on the pail...and put that puppy in the shower (don't block the drain). Do you know anyone who owns a restaurant? Run that pail thru a commercial dishwasher...it'll melt.
  8. Gran... You might try a small food service company. I found one locally where I live. They order from Columbus Foods and it is delivered to them. The prices I pay are cheaper than purchasing directly from Columbus, with no shipping and no tax. It is truly heaven.
  9. http://www.owossographic.com/freedie.cfm Here's a freebie for you. It is recommended to get 1/4" magnesium.
  10. In addition to the BBB, I would strongly urge anyone who is having Soap Silly woes to go here (the Dish) to post, using the form provided. http://www.soapdishforum.com/forum/index.php?showforum=7 In addition, alot of soapers go here. The Scent Review. http://scentreviewboard.obisoap.ca/viewforum.php?f=5&sid=b79ff06b49dd9d7d2cf190f21080b68b The more complaints that are filed, the easier they are for a new person to find during a search.
  11. If you add your negative experience in the marketplace (you must use the FORM they provide), no one can respond except her. And, you'll probably get a few supportive pm's. I did...was surprised there was not one negative pm there. The thread about the replacements, you could just ask about the marshmallow...I don't think a suit would be required! LOL..that was funny stuff! And lastly, there is always the scent review board that Lily has. There are supplier reviews there... It was a line of colorants that someone sold to Johanna...who has mucked it up for everyone. Let me tell you, that red was OUTSTANDING.
  12. I hope you get your supplies! However, I think you will find that you can get them elsewhere with a lot less hassle. There was a thread on the dish looking for Soap Silly replacements. Perhaps you should *bump* that thread back up to the top??? :tiptoe: I wish she'd sell Dragon Lily colorants to someone who could take the time to sell them properly. I will never order from Johanna EVER, but I sure do like the Extreme Red dye.
  13. I am sorry that you are having troubles. It sucks, it truly does. Been there, done that, got the badge of honor. The Cupcake Queen *IS* out there. She picks and chooses who to respond to. If it was me, I'd report her for internet fraud, which is what I should have done long ago. I had to chase her across forums to get my stuff...bad business.
  14. Wendy did. Her WCA is now being carried by http://www.tncandlesupplies.com/
  15. If the liquid soap is already thin..why would you add more water?
  16. Yep, grind them up and add some powdered milk! Bag them in cello with a pretty bow call them Fizzy Milk Bath.
  17. ALWAYS add your lye to your liquids! Do NOT add your liquids to your lye. If you choose to add silk, sugar or salt to your lye water, do it before you add your lye. Sugar and salt must be thoroughly dissolved in your water before you add your lye. Silk will dissolve when you add your lye due to the heat it produces.
  18. It may be useful, but not necessary, imho. If you draw your jar on a paper plate or white paper you can bullseye it and then set the jar on it. Like a target. After some practice, you won't need it. You attach the wick sticker to the bottom of your metal tab. You can use a ball point pen body to place your wick in (with the metal tab on the bottom). It will help you center and attach the wick. You can warm the jar and use needlenosed pliers to remove the wick and sticker. Yes, you can pour right away using a wick sticker.
  19. Don't use plastic Dixie cups to measure your fo, unless you are going to use it right away. The fo 'eats' the cup...when you hear the drip,drip,drip...you'll know.
  20. BCN = Bittercreek North You might want to bookmark this page: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5492 It has all the supplier abbreviations. Welcome...and have fun!
  21. Very nice pillars! You really do good work.
  22. I've only ordered the roll on bottles by the case (excellent quality). The cart will estimate your shipping and gives you options. It is pretty close to the real deal and is VERY reasonable. I've never ordered scents...too many variables, not enough information.
  23. These are .42 per hundred. Quoted from their website: Canadian Customers: UPS or USPS Global Priority if requested. Freight charges will be added when you order leaves our facility. Website freight charges are only an estimate. We will use the best, most efficient possible means to ship your order. http://www.woodcrafter.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=1893
  24. Madina sells them. http://www.madinaonline.com/items.asp?Cc=B64%2DPINK&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc=
