  1. I use extra large rubber bands to hold groups of balms/perfumes together.
  2. I do this too, except I use a large pipette instead of a cup. When it clogs, just add more heated mix to it...cleans it right out.
  3. I wish I had an answer. They have (had) some wonderful oils. Too bad their customer service stinks. Yes, it would be nice if they'd sell the rights to their oils to someone who could, at the very least, stock them. The owners have hired help in the last couple of years, because they had such poor turnaround times. Why have help if you don't have product?
  4. http://www.wesellcoffee.com/page39.html 2/3 of the way down are 5" pie tins.
  5. It doesn't just apply to ScentWorks. It also applies to suppliers who have yahoo groups that state with regularity (yeah, like the laxative) that the reason things are so slow with them is that their uncle's - father's - wife's - nephew's - brother in law's - baby's dog snagged a toenail and they're helping them get it trimmed or some other useless nonsense, but manage keep up their post counts on other forums, especially in answer (defense) of their actions.
  6. I second this, it really is good stuff.
  7. If you go to the file (without opening it) in a browser window, it will tell you how big the file is. Do you have a scanner? If you scan the file you can resize it easily. Then you can upload it.
  8. It would depend on your fragrance oil ratio. I use 33%, so I would get 9 roll ons from 2 ounces of oil and 1 ounce of fo.
  9. Not too much help, but I've used Vistaprint for many remakes of my biz card. I couldn't seem to get my last card centered. I called and they did it in a snap. Perhaps you could call...and email the card and let them upload it? It is so much cheaper than a local printer.
  10. Some carts aren't *smart* enough to know that it is two boxes of wax and figures the total amount of both boxes into one box. So then you get the additional shipping of an 'overweight' and 'oversized' box. Most good suppliers worth their salt will correct that shipping...but not all. Some suppliers make a killing on shipping. WSP stands out. Too many boxes, boxes that are overly large, too many peanuts equal outrageous shipping charges. It's a shame too, WSP has some great stuff.
  11. Who is DSPS? Sara, could we update this thread? Please? http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5492&highlight=supplier+list
  12. What part of "We are ONLY shipping FedEx" (written by you on December 3) doesn't make sense to you? That's what you STATED...that's what your website STATED. Now (June 20), you were only testing FedEx back then? Get real. You charged me for FedEx! lol. :rolleyes2 Please donate my refund to the charity here at CT. As far as sharing your business with me, I guess it wasn't MY business when YOUR business didn't get the job done for weeks? Let it go, Johanna. You made a mistake. If you would have apologized in the email I finally did receive (and not in my spam folder, btw) it may have made a difference. Instead it was just filled with excuses...no apology, just excuses.
  13. Oh, what a tangled web we weave when we LIE. This response of yours is in THIS thread and it's dated early DECEMBER (December 3 to be exact). Your website, when I ordered, specifically stated you only used FedEx. That's what I paid for. What I got was weeks of waiting, USPS shipping and NO response to emails. I'm a big girl, I *know* how to check my spam folder. You can't make anything appear when there is nothing there. No worries, I'm not a member of your Yahoo group. I see enough Drama Queen stuff from your posts and that's plenty for me. There's always a reason and always an excuse...or three.
  14. While *it may have been taken care of* way back when, it doesn't excuse the lack of response and a 45 day ++ wait for an order. ONLY when I posted a complaint on a different forum did you step to the plate, huffing and puffing and full of excuses. I see you posted in another thread that you only use FedEx. Gee, FedEx is what I paid for in February, according to your website. USPS is what I received, so much for free insurance and tracking.
  15. Kangaroo Blue is known for quick, efficient customer service. They have the same tube as OCC. http://www.kangarooblue.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_99&products_id=434
  16. If the container has tabs or 'notches', you can break them with a hammer and screwdriver. They should go all the way around the container. Once they are broken, you should be able to pry the lid off. Good luck!
  17. See if you can order from a local produce company that does restaurant supply. I have one close to me that orders from CF. I can pick it up locally and it turns out to be cheaper than ordering it from CF...with no shipping. Can't beat that!
  18. Crystal clear labels with black text (no pictures or backgrounds) let the colors of the wax take over.
  19. I have two sauce guns. They look like really oversized caulking guns. They are made of stainless steel with different dispensing nozzles. You put your 'sauce' in a large plastic tube, place it in the gun and pull the trigger. Hopefully, you could pick these up at any restaurant equipment supply store. I bought mine at a yard sale for $5.00.
  20. Nature's Garden has the very best Cherry Crumb Pie.
  21. I agree totally. Bluegrass Buttercream is awesome.
  22. Bluegrass has Maple Nut Crunch. It is the bomb. Too bad they can't keep up stock in their own company. :undecided
  23. You can email Cyb at bighorse@our-town.com She is very nice, quick and reliable.
