I have been looking into this myself. I have been gathering info from other direct sales companies to see what is out there and then I will taylor it to fit my business.

Is your downtown a pretty busy shopping center? Is it in a good location? Highly visible? What ways is she going to advertise? In my downtown and other surrounding cities' downtowns...$100 would not work for me. I wouldn't sell near what I would need to. How much would you have to sell to break even with the monthly rent and cost of candles?

Remember that they have sales reps dropping in to get their business. The companies the sales reps work for will charge them shipping. If $25 works for you , then I say go for it. If you get a lot of negative feedback them revisit the issue.

Thanks Raven...I usually notice those things; but lately I have been noticing my spelling and sentence structure is getting bad. I need to go back to elementary school I think. I am one of those people who cringe when people do not speak correctly. I do it to be funny sometimes; but it's (correct way this time..lol) like fingernails down a blackboard when I hear other people use it in everyday speech (and don't realize it is incorrect). An animal rescue center wants to sell my candles; but need them to be animal themed in some way. I am making a new label for my products. Can I put a famous quote on my label (or on a hang tag) if I put the author also? Heads up - Dollar Tree has cute square V-Day boxes in lots of colors. The 9oz Fillmore jar is a bit taller; but with the extra deep box lid, it works! I just grabbed on to check size. This one isn't even the cutest one!
