  12. Your soap is beautiful , I had raspberry pop turn peach colored in an ungelled soap , same batch gelled did not turn color , go figure

  14. You could try sodium lactate at 1/2 oz PPO to help harden the soap up . hth
  15. The easiest way to superfat is not to add any extra oil but to use less lye . Soapcalc's superfat is set to 5% , that means you will use 5% less lye than is needed to saponify your oils . The calculator will tell you exactly how much lye and water to use with the size of batch you want . Most of the oil added after the superfat would be eaten by the lye monster anyway . You don't run the risk of forgetting to add the oil this way either . Good luck with your first batch

  17. I use anywhere from 15 to 20% .I love tallow in soap .
  18. Have you tried lathering your hair twice .I found this with cp shampoo bars , first shampoo no lather at all .Second time , bucketfulls.
