    There was a study I read at work that showed when people washed their hands PROPERLY with soap , it got rid of more germs and bacteria than hand sanitizer. Another good reason to use handmade soap:)

    Thank you all for your kind words The lotion bars are unscented per request .I found some silver heart boxes to pop them in at a dollar store 3/$1.00 . The sewing machine is a featherweight . The flowers weigh 3.5 oz they aren't as big as they appear . kellie

    Oops missed the hot lye , I call my version room temp because both vital ingredients are room temp lol .I know people that melt the oils with the lye call it room temp too , who is right and will we ever know the answer to that question lol.

    these are some solid lotion samples for a wedding with silver in the color scheme , made in an ice cube tray . Caramel Apple Crunch soap made in the Wilton flower mold . Green Irish Tweed ( I love this scent ) Santa's Pipe ( love this scent) thanks for looking :smiley2:

    Your soap sounds wonderful . 4 weeks is the minimum time . I let mine cure 6 weeks , there is a difference imho between 4 & 6 week old soap.

    Your soap looks fantastic .It does look like it overheated . Sometimes you can push the cracked areas back together .

    I use butters , oils, sugar and cp soap in mine , never used ewax in them
