  1. I'm testing Cs white tea and berries and i'm at a loss for color. i'm torn between a purple for the berries and a pale yellow for the tea
  2. coconut, i've had to wick up to HTP 62s on a couple of scents for the bottom of the jar. Great throw and melt pool starting, but by the bottom i had a 1/4 inch wall on one side and tiny plame using an 8oz apathecary jar that is 4 inches diameter.
  3. according to candle science and the technical documentation for the waxes 4627 - 12%fo 4630 - 10% fo I've used 8% in the 4630 and got some killer throw. Depends on the FO, the very vanillia i use 7.5% love spell i use 10% I use double wicked HTP52 for my 8oz apathecary jar for the lighter Fos and HTP62 for med to heavier FO, but that's just my testing...i've had a to up to 62 for one light FO because it kept drowning out. Test test test is the best advice. Good luck
  4. Thanks top, trying not to have more then 2 waxes ass i'm still testing. DW wants tapers so i'm debating on making them for her

  6. testing 4625 wax, trying to get away from additives. Hoping the wicks i've got working with the 1274 works with the 4625
  7. here's my list of printer preference from a PC Tech side HP - best at my office Brothers - great printer Epson - do they make laser printers? Lexmark - RUN do not walk,RUN away. They are junk, why my boss keeps buying them is beyond me..oh i know why, they are cheap.
  8. I've learned to embrace the wetspots as long as it's only a couple of small ones. Especially after i took a loot at yank-me candles and their one big (whole candle) wetspot. If the consumer doesn't mind them i'm not going to kill myself to make them look perfect. As long as they throw good and burn safely.
  9. Used to use a plastic measuring cup until i noticed the bottom getting thin. I've got a nive heavy glass one now.
  10. Thanks for the replies, I sent my DW out thrift store shopping today. That made her happy Jane thanks for the BC suggestion, i've been looking for a place to buy more tubes...plus i think i'm ordering boxes for the votives hehehe
  11. I know there is a downloads area on zen carts main page, that's where i got the plug in for the multi item per row on my site. http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=40&zenid=b880914a9d3671ff265da87c5aeb818d I'm still trying to get the override to work :undecided PHP is it's own beast, i'll do the manual adjustments like adding in boxes updating the logo and stuff other then that i won't touch it. Your best bet would be to buy a book on PHP code.
  12. How do you display tarts? I'm debating on buying small baskets or some medium sized jars to drop them in.
  13. i put the valve in myself, I think the fittings cost me $10 including the JB Weld.
  14. That's it Stella, i just searched mold guess i didn't go back far enough....
  15. Back when i first joined the board someone was talking about building a new votive mold. I can't find the thread anymore, but has anyone heard any more on this?
  16. I use paper towels, to wipe them clean after i pull them out of the oven.
  17. I'm going to guess you are talking about the pictures and HTML files you upload is what you are asking about. If you cancel or transfer the site then anything that is attached to the original location is gone.... NOW that being said if you have a copy on your personal computer once you have the new site ready for file to be uploaded then you would just upload them the same as you did with the old site. If you have more questions PM me.
  18. setting up my displays so i can take pictures for a fall festival application.
  19. How long do you wait for a candle to cool before you relight it? I've been giving them a day, but want to know if i can do it sooner...I've got more time on the weekend to test.
  20. Okay what i did was inder miscellanies taxes I created a R&D, and Candle Samples category (5221, 5222 respectively) then under the adjustment GL on the accounting tab is where i put thone of the #'s. so when i do the inventory adjustment it goes into the proper place. So it's added to my inventory then adjusted out with the R&D reason code.
  21. That's actually the information i was searching for as well.
