    Welcome to CP!! You did it, this dancing baby's for you. Your soap looks great for a first batch. My soap with the red palm oil turned out that way as well. Also the difference on the top is called ash, for what I can see in the picture. Sometimes you can prevent that by placing a piece of saran wrap gently on top after its fresh made . I use room temp water and stir well, not sure why your lye didnt get that hot maybe some one who uses water that cold can jump in. Anyways welcome to a whole new addiction!

    I ordered twice from them and it didnt take 50% off each item , it was a total discount at the bottom of the page on your receipt and while you are adding to your cart it will give the total amount it cost. When they get around to charging your card that should take care of it too and the shipping will be taken off. That is unless you bought cases of wax or bases then you get a discounted rate (it was in the fine print). .. HTH

    Yeah, Heartfelts Simply vanilla is the only one I found that dosent have anything else in it, but vanilla!

    Lisa , that is just wrong!!!LOL There were lots and lots of awesome goodies and prizes, could ya blame me?!! If you were not able to come this time , you sure missed it. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and learning some interesting stuff. We need to do this again and soon.

    This may have been discussed but did not pull up when I was searching the scent. I was at Bath & Body works and smelled their New "Hello Sugar" 3 in one wash (its a lemon scent) I knew I had smelled it some where before, and sure enough to me its identical to Scent works London lemon Curd. IMHO its a dead ringer. It was kinda weird, usually we look for dupes of a new scent, but this time I had it before it even came out!lol So just a heads up, if you like the scent from BBW try scentworks LLC. Delicious (both of them), by the way!

    Thank you! I had not soaped in a while and had the urge. I had also soaped 2 other fo's Be delicious and Angel types( one with the most beautiful 5 color swirl) and something went wrong with both and they are now in the city dump !!??:embarasse Made me want to scream! LOL

    Heres some soaps that just got done curing. Jakalex took the pics, I thought she did a great job! They are "Carnival crush" (red) ,"Hippie"Pure Patchouli EO (cream & Brown swirl) "Surf's up "salt bar (light blue), "Peppermint Passion" (speckled EO soap),"Lemongrass & Star Anise" (yellow), "Hawaiian Hibiscus" (green,yellow)"Lavender, Cucumber & Sage "(purple,green,white) "Sweet Sugar " (brownish pink) Monkey Bazaar (banana and colored dark brown and maroon) .
