It may be the Wax...Several People recently have commented about the Change in the 464 wax , Including myself (I got it from CS too) They (they CS) said it was just normal , but it is way different to me from the past 3 yrs of using it.:undecided

I found that too, Plus The Prices on some of the products I was ordering went up $1.55 EACH over night...I had it in my cart and the next morning it was different so with that and the shipping I declined to order.

Just got an email from Customer Service at CS (they really are great at Customer service). I had called them on the problem as My wax continues to make tiny bubbles and weird textures, and the oil and wax are not mixing. Mind you Ive been using this 464 wax for years as I mentioned so This new dilema with my last 2 batches has me mind boggled. Ive been making candles for 9 yrs so I have a had a lot of things to work through , but I have tried everything and it wont fix. Its weird that several of us are having the same issues:confused: CS said that its just the nature of the wax , so I will keep trying. Please post if you found out how to use these newer batches of wax that seem to have a mind of there own. I do know I can not pour below 150 without disaster.

Wow Sharon that is terrible!! I will tell them, We spend way to much time and money testing a wax for it to go and change on us.

What Should we do? I guess I will contact CS today and they can contact them. Maybe we all should so they no its not a one person Fluke..

Yes we must of then!! What a long Journey it has been this far, I laugh at what my product looked like then and I was so proud of it too!!lol Yes something has changed and Im totally not happy with it. I need to contact GF , maybe if enougth people do they will actually maybe retest it themselves:grin2:

I know this is an older thread, but I did a search and this came up. I have been making candles for about 9yrs (started with 415) for the past 3 almost 4 years been using 464. I bought a case of 464 about 2 months ago and all my 16 oz jars have tons of tiny bubbles, and frosting galore..Tried pouring all temps, still no luck, I had to keep remelting all my 16oz Jars in the oven 2 fix them! I don't have time to keep doing that. I then thought maybe the wax had been in contact with water/Humidity cause it was leaking oil and everything. I just bought my second box and SAME problem still. Now mind you One Box was used during cold months and this one is warm (70) and my room is pretty stable. Im at my wits end, I have been using this wax or years and NEVER had this. I got it from CS , but I know it comes from the manufacture . Anyone else still having this issue or heard anything about the batches of 464 with these problems? Thanks guys

Sorry No Advice, Its Just really weird to me as why she would even want/have photos of your product, if its not even at her store?? Arnt people gonna be like "wheres those candles at with the toad on them?":rolleyes2?

Sounds Like a Pink Sugar and Marshmellow/Whipped Cream ..any vanilla etc. type mix to me.

Thanks for your reply, it is a tough one for sure! My fans were promoting me, but their friends thought they were talking about scentsy. ..I will have to think about this some more..Maybe it will turn around for my good and they think im scentsy and therefore buy more??!!! LOL JK

Recently over the past few months I have noticed on facebook a couple of fans promoting my Candles on their page with my Logo and there review, etc. on different fan pages I seen comments under it with people saying how much they just loved Scentsy too!!?? I was Like What?? So I searched my name Make Scents and Scentsy reps/company is using Make Scents, and Make Scents with Scentsy and different variations of that. Anyway I have had my Biz for several years before they even came out, but am wondering now what I should do since people are getting us confused on FB and who knows how many other people have done that or ordered from Scentsy thinking its my Company.. They have LOTS more money than I do to market and use terms, and I realize there are alot of companies out there with names a like and that Make Scents will commonly be used in slogans ,etc. I thought I was original 9 yrs ago when I started as I didnt know much about searching out stuff..lol I even see one guy out there with the same jars as Mine and the same font name logo he started last year!! My Customers Long know my name and are used to it, but would you all change anything or just let it be?

Ummm..We may or may not, LOL..Actually I need to clean them up and get my camera out. Im still sad about all the messed up bars. I did go head a curl the bad soaps up for later embeds, so not all is lost I guess.

The Most time it takes it just waiting for it to set up as I pour it in layers..But I usually need that time to get my other stuff togther.. Alright Michelle, Im excited to see what you your gonna do. Freezer paper is shiny on one side and the shiny side needs to face the soap. There is a tutorial about lining molds n here Ill try and find the link..Soaping is Fun. Oh to encourage you I made a batch of 24 bars of CP Rose Petal Soap last night ..with rose clay and petals on top and rose petal FO from Sweet cakes..I couldnt cut it right this morning for nothing cause of the dumb rose petals siding down the soap and indenting it:sad2: So I lost all but 6 bars that are sellable..I dont like rose so wont use it my self. Im so mad at myself.Hate Money down the drain!!! So there you go ..Everyone messes up, and Ive been making soap for years!!lol

Sure Any type of loaf style will do..then line it with freezer paper..Also a drawer Plastic Liners are good to pour into as you can just pop it right out..If you have a joann etc round you they are clearanceing out their 4 cavity soap molds for .97!!

Hehe...Ill have to conquer my own fear first!!!l if I EVER wrote a book about anything that would be a miracle, so yea you would get a signed copy for sure! Those in the Pic are M&P, Ill be making more CP today so im out of M&P Soap..WHAAAA.. So Michelle Get out your soap out,Think Of a lovely /Fun scene in your head ,and then think how to do each design one by one.Thats not much help but thats how I have to do it. I think what can I use to make that shape..etc.. I want to see YOUR pics.. No More Negativity..You can only do what you think you can!! I always swoon over so many peoples soap and products on here..What an inspiration this site is to me.

Thanks! You guys are funny..I dont have a book i use, but just whacky thoughts and ideas that pop in my head..lol I should probably get one. Color and Visuals are my thing. I just try to make things that would appeal to me, so Im not sure if these will even sell so we will see.. The Round things are ice cube molds that I cut down to size to fill my mold Tomorrow I need to CP, but since I have no slab mold with inserts (im horrible at cutting) Ill have to try and think of something..CP is not as creative for me!!lol

That Much Volume in only 6 yrs?? Did I hear that right? Goodness Ive been making those for over 6 yrs and still havent made my first million!! Whats the secret???!!!!
