  1. You make the most AMAZING soap. I love seeing you post your wonderful "creations". Absolutely inspiring!!!! :yay:
  2. Now the question for me will be can I duplicate them again, lol. I am doing CP today with an FO called "Maritime Garden" and one of my co-workers is originally from the Maritimes and I had her smell it and she said "I think I am going to cry" She said "it reminds me so much of home". She has asked me to soap it with various blues/green - more the color of the ocean so I hope that my colors don't go screwy on me. I have an order of melt and pour coming this week so I will attempt to duplicate these again. I was extremely surprised that I love the scent so much soaped, because I didn't find it as "awesome" in the bottle but I understand their description now, about not being able to go by them without picking one up and smelling them. I used shaved CP soap at the top of these melt and pour bars to try and add a bit of dimension to them. I am going to try doing something somewhat similar with "Blue Sugar" in a melt and pour to see if that FO discolors less in melt and pour medium.
  3. The soaps are much "brighter" than the pics show and what you see as "yellow" here is more "lime" in person. This FO is AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! This is one I will soap again and again and again.... :yay: The next time I will put it in a CP soap but last night I just wanted to have some quick fun so used a melt and pour base.
  4. I was in a bit of a "wild" mood last night and felt adventurous.... so here is my newest soap I am calling "Midnight Madness" (scented Starry starry night". The description of this FO where I purchased: "This heavenly fragrance begins with sparkling citrus notes of clean lemon and refreshing orange, supported by a soft middle of jasmine, rose and lily, all sitting atop a bottom of dark, velvety musk. I can't walk past a bar of soap made with this stellar fragrance."
  5. Well I read this thread AFTER I placed an order from a supplier here in Canada and yes I had Pink Sugar on my list. I picked up my order this evening from the post-office and was ready to "heave" by what I read here. I was PLEASANTLY surprised and I LOVE the scent. Yes it's rather "sweet" BUT I am anxious to soap it now. I am also going to put it in my lotion
  6. I have been soaping this scent for some time and it has become my most popular "man" scent. I now have men clients that ask me for this scent in "man" sea salts . Never thought about making sea salts for men but I received a request and the rest his history. You would be surprised how many men want the sea salts, I know I was surprised. Most guys take showers but I made the sea salts with added epson salts, baking soda, a bit of sweet almond oil added ..... The first time I made this I had a bit of leftover, not enough for a container and my daughter came to me and said "what is this"... she grabbed them and off she went to take her bath. She came back after her bath and said "mom, feel my skin..." and the smell, the smell is absolutely DIVINE!!!!
  7. Personally I LOVE the look of that soap. My husband would LOVE soap that looks like that. Interesting FO. Being that we live on a hobby farm and one of my passions is raising miniature horses and all the work that goes along with it, not sure about the FO BUT I have to say that I enjoy gardening, especially in the spring when my hands are busy cleaning and planting in my garden, so perhaps I get this "FO" smell naturally
  8. Wow, those are beautiful. I am not seeing the brown in the pics. I am seeing the navy blue, the lighter blue and a green. Even if it turned brown, I think the colors are amazing and very nice for men!!! I wish I could smell this scent!
  9. No, I don't sell them to shops but directly to clients I have. I am lucky that I work for a VERY large employer here in Canada so word of mouth has sort of got me rather frazzled to say the least. I work all day at a 9 to 5 job, then I have my other passions, raising miniature horses (breeding) and then I look after my grandaughter many evenings during the week. I started creating my website but I just don't have the time!!! I think I need to hire someone to do that so I can concentrate on everything else!
  10. I have made up some various packages for Valentines Day. The small boxes with a bear attached are sea salts, the baskets have various things, sea salts, soaps, valentine hand towels, little bear...
  11. :D Now those are the most beautiful soaps I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! STUNNING!!!!
  12. I think you did a great job on the rebatch. I have had that happen as well, the dents but my soap was a dark brown and scented chocolate so they looked like real brownies witht the dents and everyone went wild for them. I had one mother who bought some for her son thank me because she said finally it wasn't a fight to get her son to take a bath . He said he loved taking a chocolate bath
  13. I LOVE the citrus scents, so clean and invigorating. My all time favorite is the scent of lemons!!!!
  14. Yes I have deep red walls in my dinning room. As a matter of fact my husband is the one that chose that color. Wasn't sure at first I would like it, he decided to do this last year 4 days before Christmas!!!
  15. This one is scented "Icy Blast". It's a great scent, not as nice as the Green Irish Tweed, but none-the-less, a great scent for men as well.
  16. I am going to be using the cupcakes boxes with my "cupcake" bath bombs I made today. Those were more expensive and I found them at a store here called "The Bulk Barn" and they are carried by Wilton (cake decorating)
  17. Those little drawstring bags came from the $ store. They come with a colored scrunchie and either a pumice stone or something else, all I did was add a bar of my soap. I wasn't sure how they were going to look so I only bought about 20 of them but I am going back Monday to buy as many more as I can. They are an inexpensive way to add a bar of soap and it looks so nice. The little angel and santa dishes are also from the $ store, as well as those AWESOME black and white print bags and the matching boxes. Those I bought a TON of. I truly like the look of the black and white and it goes with any season really because you can add red or green for Christmas time, for Valentine's Day you can either use red or pink to accent, and of course for fall you can add orange, green, burgundy. Now I know I won't be able to always get these but I know that Nashville Wraps have some awesome black and white bags and that is the look I want so I will be buying from them.
  18. WOW, I LOVE THE COLORS - that look would go so well with "Icy Blast"
  19. Here is some of the packaging I will have at my upcoming craft sale. This is going to be my first so, I am a tad nervous about it, but I know it will be fun!
  20. Grandma, tell your hubby that he will get very lucky if he uses this ... YOU will be chasing him around the house
