  1. I received an email but I deleted it. It was a sale on only one fragrance if I recall correctly. Natalie
  2. Candle Sciences' red hot cinnamon is good also. But I made several and one of my testers had the wick burn out and the wax turned an ugly color. I dont know why this happened my tester burnt fine. CS's is very good I have tried Peaks cinnamon and CS cinnamon stix and I am most happy with red hot cinnamon Natalie
  3. I really have to chime in again on CS choco milk it could be called milk chocolate it is awesome been burning it all week. Lovin CM, Natalie
  4. I love the buckle purse. How long did those take you, if you dont mind sharing. Natalie
  5. This had never dawned on me until today, I always added my fragrance in on pour out of my mixing cup, tonight I poured it in slowly to temper the oil resulting in less of a temp drop from all of it at once. I poured a sure fire hit Hansel and Gretel from CS I forgot how buttery it smells. Lovin CS, Natalie:rolleyes2
  6. I use CS' f and m for about 2 years now it has a great throw imo. I really like it, with others it is hit or miss. Natalie
  7. Awesome suggestions, thanks for the responses. Mulberry as it turns out is not a easy one to wick. But oh well. Natalie
  8. I second the chocolate milk from CS I have been lovin it for a week now. So I think this is a great thread as I am ready to maybe try a few morechocolate fragrances. I think chocolate is great for a candle line. Natalie
  9. I am just gonna say, they are not my favorites. I like FO with the real name, then I might try to rename. I just found their scents not as good as a few other comapanies. natalie
  10. This may sound crazy but I took my candles into local bars, ones that I was familiar with and let them sit behind the bar. The bars would also burn them. I did very well that way. Natalie
  11. Although in an earlier post I raved about Mulberry from CS, now I am searching for something in the berry family, just a little more complex. Any suggestions? I use pure soy Thank you, Natalie
  12. I have had quite a week of testing, I ordered and tested samples people had been asking about. Banana Nut Bread is great. I did not think I was into bakery fragrances until bnb. My woodsy scents are on the backburner. Out of 9 fragrances from CS two were good rather than excellent in cold and hot throw, and that was only after 2=3 days of cure, I tried a new jar so I did test burns early. Natalie
  13. All I can say is CS Mulberry kicks butt. I cant believe I have not tried it before. I love love love it. I use eco pure. Lovin CS, Natalie
  14. I just poured CS' Mulberry and wow, I love it. Will know more after cure. Lovin CS Natalie
  15. Im burning choco milk and it smells identical to the oob experience, plus great hot throw I hope people take to it. It smells just like the name, strudel and spice however along with vanilla hazelnut have a better cold throw so far than HT, but seasonal allergies have my nose not in so good of shape. natalie
  16. I poured this earlier today, and although have not done my test burn, I love this FO. Cold throw is already wonderful after 12 hours. I will be giving this to testers. Also Vanilla Hazelnut and Strudel and Spice are wonderful. I am beginning to think I only need CS and Peaks. Oh yea, Red Hot Cinnamon is super out of bottle. I know that is not worth a hill of beans but I get so excited when they are good oob. Lovin CS, Natalie
  17. Thank you, I like that idea, using card stock is not cost efficient and putting ribbon on top or whatever is not time efficient, after all, people asked for fragrance list not a invitation ha ha Natalie
  18. A couple of people have asked if I have a fragrance list. So I am thinking about some card stock, with a smaller piece and some vellum on top. I do not have a laser printer so I will have to see how a printer does on the vellum. I do mainly the 8 oz square masons so I dont need a super sophisticated presentation but if I am gonna do it I want it to be right. I guess Im thinking large 3 dimensional business card. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Natalie
  19. I think this is interesting I usually heat in my presto to 175 or 180, pour into a warm pouring pitcher that already has my dye chip in bottom pour in FO and stir 2 min and pour into my heated jar. I think I have good hot throw but I really have nothing to compare it to. Natalie
  20. I asked for a sample of Mulberry during a recent CS order. To me this is a familiar scent to a lot of people, I think the candlelights brand carried or carries it and it is popular. This is a scent that I would of never of thought of trying but I got some inquireres about it. I hope CS has a good one. Natalie
  21. I am interested in any replies for this post I think it is a good question. This year is my first for pouring cinnamon, mostly due to an overwhelming request for anything cinnamon. Peaks cinnamon is good but I have an order for several samples arriving next week. I have never used an EO but would be up for the challenge. Maybe cinnamon eo is not for wax? Natalie
  22. It's new and I am going to try it. I was at lowe's tonight and they had " soy blend " candles in mason jars for 3.97, and really they weren't that bad. They had a hot cocoa scent that was pretty good. It was a nice cocoa color with two wax marshmellows on top. I find more joy when major retailers have crappy soy candles, Im so bad. Natalie
  23. I got some AH on Monday, and I love it in eco pure. I only got 4 ounces so I hope it is back in stock soon. Natalie
  24. Scent works has a Shaw Mudge fo thats red current and I read somewhere that it is the Votivo fo. Scentworks was closed for awhile and I havent got around to actually trying it, Natalie
  25. Placed an order Monday night and I have not recieved shipping info. Normally I get notification the same day or early the next. The website did inform 1 to 2 business days. Im not complaining just giving a heads up!! You know always want supplies to arrive on Thurs or Friday, that just works best for me to tinker over the weekends. Still lovin Peaks Natalie
