  1. Cajun's Candle Supply has an awesome Oatmeal Milk & Honey fragrance. And it's body safe. I made a batch of soap this weekend with it. OMG... I want TO EAT MY SOAP. LOL
  2. OMG... rotf lmao... this scent is one of my best sellers!!! LOL The scent is good in a candle, it's not too strong either. I use this in my lampe fuels I make, and it is my top seller. I've learned that the smells I think are "stinky"... other people go crazy over. LOL
  3. Patchouli with Orange smells good. But, I have to say my favorite Patchouli Blend is Patchouli and Rose. Ahhh....
  4. These soaps are sooo adorable!!! Great Job!*super banana*
  5. LOL One of my customers that buys this scrub faithfully says it smells like Margarita to her...rotf lmao... I have thought about changing the Lemon to Lime.... lol... and calling it Mama Mia! Margarita Scrub.....rotf lmao
  6. OMG... it looks like Hershey's Chocolate!!! Awesome!! I love it!!! Awesome Job!! Looks good enough to eat!!! I'd use this soap for sure!!!!
  7. Yes... these are 8oz jars. I wouldn't recommend it for your whole body, I find it's too abrasive. I basically made it as a hand scrub, because my hands and cuticles are so dry. Then after I tried it for the first time, and felt how soft my hands were, I'm like... Whoa... I can't wait to try this on my feet!!! It works wonders. And it feels sooooooo good when your massaging it in. My eyeballs want to roll back in my head!!!! LOL I use essential oil of lemon and a small amount of peppermint for this scrub. It smells wonderful. I used Lemon essential oil because it's supposed to be antibacterial, and the peppermint for a little bit of a cool feeling. I was trying to go into the Swap Forum to see if someone wanted to swap something for a Lemon Mint Scrub, but everytime I try to go on it, it tells me I'm not authorized to view or post in the Swap Forum. Don't know what I'm doing wrong though. But anyway, thank you everyone for the compliments. Really makes me feel good. *super banana*
  8. This is a pic with my older labels. I have decided to update my labels, I will have to post a pic of it to show to you all. This is a scrub for dry hands. Can be used on feet also... It's made with Sea Salt, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, and a few other "secret" ingredients. I swear, after you use this scrub, you don't need a moisturizer!!
  9. I buy a few scents from SOS, and I love them. I've had a few that I regret buying though. IMO... Get the Manufacturer's Grade, and uprade to Extreme Concentrate. I find the others are just too weak. I buy Coast type fo from them... and let me tell you... OMG... the BEST. Smells just like coast soap. It's awesome in my body cream that I make. I also made a body spritzer with it. Awesome. There is another fo called Squeaky Clean. That one is good too. I love the clean, soapy, just stepped out of the shower smells. I bought a 2oz of the Dove type oil, and I really don't smell a thing!! It's very very very light, and I had upgraded to Extreme concentrate. So, like someone else on the board said... it's kinda like a "hit and miss".
  10. How about "Hanky Panky"...lol:D
  11. I have FOCD too. OMG... I thought I was all alone in this world. LOL Hubby keeps telling me... "You have too much, Donna." LOL It is a very real addiction!! I too, am always searching for the perfect fragrance. I have found a couple that I adore. One scent that I am really addicted to is Coast Type fragrance oil from Save on Scents. I swear... this is awesome. Very strong. I add this to my Body Cream I make, and let me tell you... OMG!! It's awesome. Smells just like Coast soap. Clean and Fresh. I make the dry oil body spritz too in this. I'm selling this scent like CRAZY. People go GA-GA over it!! This makes an awesome scent in a shampoo also. And the scent stays on you... all day. Yes, I'm addicted. Maybe someone needs to come up with a Fragrance Oils Anonymous...lol.... My hubby would be driving me to meetings. ROTF LMAO
  12. I like Coral Crush. Catchy name!! I was gonna suggest Coral Sunset. But I like Coral Crush better!! Very creative husband you got there!! LOL For the burgundy color, how about a wine name? Merlot Cabernet Shiraz Lordy, people are gonna think I'm a wino!! LOL Ohhh!!!!!!!! How about SANGRIA??????? oooohhhhh... I like that!!! LOL
  13. Those are sooooo adorable!!! I love them!! You are very talented!
  14. Sorry... lol... forgot to add that I use EO's for the Scrub and soap. Not fragrance oils. :embarasse
  15. I use Spearmint for the tingly feeling. It smells like Doublemint Gum:drool: I make a Dry Body Scrub with a mixture of Spearmint and Peppermint, and I call it Mint Julep!! Leaves you feeling cool and tingly all over!! Feels fresh!! Just caution people if you use any kind of menthol. I accidentally got soap in my eyes one night with my Mint Julep Soap.... talk about burn your eyeballs!!! LOL I usually caution them to keep it away from mucous membranes... very irritating!!
  16. I absolutely love the SilkBase from Save on Scents. It's kinda on the expensive side, but it can be used to make perfume oil, body sprays, and linen sprays. It's bascially cyclo. But I love it. I've tried other linen bases, and either it smells like nothing but alcohol, or it turns milky when I add the oils. When you add scent to the SilkBase, it stays clear, and mixes well. And plus, it doesn't leave your linens and furniture wet after spraying.
  17. Please Please Please.... don't buy wine cellar from BCN. I did. How can I put this nicely? It smells like puke. It really does. I gag when I open it. The best wine scent from BCN is the Cabernet. This one is awesome. And the Wine and Roses. But please, don't waste your money on the Wine Cellar scent. Believe me.... it really STANKS!!
  18. How about Enchanted Apple? APPLELICIOUS!!! LOL Gosh... I think I need more coffee now!! LOL I even thought of Jolly Rancher... lol...
  19. My 12 year old nephew gets cold sores constantly. One day, his mom asked me if I had anything to put on it. Naturally, I didn't. But I grabbed my EO's... mixed a couple of drops of Lavender, and a drop of Tea Tree, put it on the cold sore with a Q-tip, and poor thing, he said it burned. After about 10 min.. he said it didn't hurt anymore. I put some more on him about 3 hours later, and put two more applications the next day. By the third day, it had dried up, and was almost completely gone. Now, when he feels one coming on... he runs next door to my house and begs me for more of "that stinky oil".... LOL
  20. Doris... I love you!! You just summed it up. Straight and to the point. You are da bomb my girl!!!! LOL

    Teenage Skin

Let me share with you a recipe I concocted for myself. I tend to break out when I'm stressed, or hormones are running high...lol, so I decided to make a Sea Salt Facial Soap. Let me explain why I wanted to add sea salt to it.... when I was younger, we would go to the beach...I was amazed because after a few days of swimming in the ocean, my face would clear up, the pimples would dry up and heal... by the time the weekend was over and we were back home, my skin was clear. I finally realized, it was the salt in the water. So, I came up with my own recipe using a goats milk melt and pour soap base. The ingedients consist of: Lavender Hydrosol, Rosewater, Chamomile Hydrosol, Oatmeal, Sea Salt, Chamomile Tea leaves, and essential oils of Lavender, Bulgarian Rose, Tea Tree and Peppermint. Gosh, I wish I can give you exact amounts on the ingredients, but that's my problem, I don't measure. LOL I just throw in the pot and use my own judgement. The Lavender Hydrosol and Lavender essential oils are soothing and healing. The Rosewater and Bulgarian Rose essential oils are good for mature skin. The Chamomile Hydrosol and Chamomile Tea leaves are soothing for inflamed skin. Oatmeal is awesome for any type of skin. The Sea Salt is healing, and draws out the toxins from pores. Tea Tree oil is antibacterial, antifungal, and is awesome for acne. The peppermint essential oil works to cleanse the pores also. Don't add too much Peppermint essential oil, because I find that it is just too strong for skin in large amounts. When using essential oils, only a few drops are needed to reap the benefits. I usually add more Lavender essential oil, because I love the smell of it, and it's very beneficial for your skin. I just add all the ingredients to the melted soap base and stir stir stir. I then turn off the heat, remove it from the stove, then I keep stirring until I start feeling it thicken up. Then I pour into bar molds. Now, this makes one heck of an ugly bar of soap, but I noticed a difference in my skin since I've been using it. I find that I do need a moisturizer afterwards, so I use a small amount of jojoba oil, because my skin is oily, and jojoba is the only oil I can use without clogging up my pores. I add a bit of Bulgarian Rose Oil to my jojba oil before slathering it on with a cotton ball!! I know... I see I've written a novel here...lol... but I hope in some small way that this "recipe" helps someone in need.
  22. Trying to rename the scent Cypress Wood. Any suggestions anyone would like to share with me?
  23. Hawaiian Dream fragrance oil from Cajun Candles is Awesome!! Smells exotic. Cypress Wood... OMG... got a candle from a friend with this scent... and it's sooooo good. So I have to say, these two are my favorites. There's a new scent called Hurricane Daquiri... I haven't smelled that one yet, but I bet it's kick-butt!!!!
  24. My favorite and bestseller is Pixie Dust fragrance oil from Majestic Mountain Sage... it's da bomb!!
  25. Pixie Dust is a HUGE seller in my product line. Everyone wants it... everyone requests it. It's awesome in body products... I had a friend try it in a candle, and it just didn't give off a good scent throw. It was a very light scent. But if you are using it in bath and body products... go for it!! I promise, you won't be sorry. I get mine from Majestic Mountain Sage. I usually have to buy the biggest bottles they sell...lol... cause I'm going through this fragrance like CRAZY!! They freak over it!!
