  1. Hey everyone I havent been here in a while. Staying busy. Glad to be back. I am interested in those lotion candles. I want to try to make them. But was wondering if anyone knew how to make them. I really want to give this a try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I dont even know where to start. Thanks so much Kaitlyn:cool2:
  2. I am woking with igi 4627. I was wondering if anyone thought 6006 is better than 4627. It sounds good the way you guys talk about it. I may have to try this 6006. I guess it would be a cleaner burn being it has soy in it. Well, not as much smoke sometimes, I mean. Advice would be great. I do like my 4627 though. It might be good to carry two different kinds of candles.
  3. Yes I did test every scent I have made. That is what's so weird about it. I tested to the bottom of every candle. I think it could be weather. I will burn a few more and see what I get. I will let ya know! Thanks:D
  4. Well, I was just wanting to burn one of my candles for myself. I wasn't testing, just going to enjoy. The candle did not burn right. It burned down the middle. One burned very little out after about an hour. It did not burn like I had tested them. Now I am freaking out to think I have these out for sale and they are not burning properly. I just dont know what to do, or what went wrong. :undecided
  5. I had made some candles and had them in different places to sell. Well I picked some up one day and decided to burn one. I was so surprised when I did!!. The candle started to burn a very little burn pool. It was awful. I tested all of my candles and they worked great. I just did not understand why this happened. I was wondering if anyone might know why this has happened. I thought maybe the cooler weather, but I am just confused. I burned a couple more and it did about the same thing. HELP!!!!!!!! Oh, by the way I use Igi 4627 wax and some vybar in it.
  6. O.K. I know its like a rerun but I am so frustrated right now. I want to wick a candle proper. If someone could help me PLEASE!!!!! :D
  7. Thank you so much for the advice. I will give it a try.
  8. O.K. I use IGI 4627 comfort blend in a 8oz.jj. I was wondering if anyone has tried eco8 in this jar.Do you think this wick is too big! Also I add a little vybar and crisco in this and about 1 to 1 1/2 oz of FO pp. This seems to work pretty good all together with some scents and others not as well. Anyone tried this combination. Thanks Kate
  9. What do you think about adding crisco in igi 4627 wax. Has anyone tried in a preblend?
  10. O.k. I have tried eco, zinc, rrd, and htp of different sizes. The burn is o.k. its the scent throw I AM NOT HAPPY WITH.I want a strong scent throw off of these while burning. I am ready to scream!! All part of testing though. Thanks for your input, greatly appreciated. Any more advice would be awsome!!!!
  11. I was looking on OzbuncANDLESUPPLY SITE.i SEEN IGI 4627 WAX and it said hardners can be added to this wax. I am USING THIS WAX and everyone said not to use additives. Are they talking about something different that I do not know about. Help Please!!!!!
  12. O.K. I have posted a little about my problem before. Just still not getting it. I use Igi 4627 comfort blend in 8oz jj. I am having the most problem wicking and having a great scent throw off of Home Sweet Home, Pumpkin Pie, and Hot Apple Pie. Others I have tested are doing great. If anyone has some advice that would be a great help. Thanks Kaitlyn.
  13. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how you tell if you have a bad Fo.
  14. Dark Earth is the closest to it I think . Good Luck!!:highfive:
  15. Leashaan, I have found that cutting with a big knife is much easier with this wax. Hope this helps you. Still doing testing myself. Good Luck!!!!:highfive:
