  1. Awww... look how cute! I think you're cupcakes are adorable! Your salt bars look lovely too! Lookin' good girlie!
  2. Actually, no. The method I used didn't take long at all. It was actually very therapeutic. lol Thanks for all the compliments everyone!
  3. I started playing around last night, had some left over MP soaps that didn't look too purdy after having a wild idea.... so I chunked them up and did an over pour of white MP.
  4. Very pretty and feminine! I like it alot! ETA: duh. Cut pic on page 1. I need more coffee.
  5. oh gosh, look how sparkly!!! I love that! These look really gorgeous Pareeeee. Your swirls are so purdy. You'll have to remember to use that sparkly mica around the holidays! How does it smell in soap? I got some from OT, and it's ok OOB and in lotions. Does it smell about the same in CP?
  6. Oh wow. It does look like frog eyes! lol I asked DH what does it look like? He said... "boobies". Men. Pfft... sometimes they are pathetic. LOL Lovely looking soap!
  7. Lovely lookin' soap bars! Love the purple ones!
  8. oooh I likey! I like the look of the white square soap pieces, it makes it look... geometrical... along with the circles. Woohoo! One of these babies are MINE.
  9. How about Navajo Blossom? Turquoise Blossom?
  10. I know when I soap in the winter, I HAVE to cover my soaps. I just slap the lid on. And I leave it on. No peeking. I find that during the winter months, if I don't cover, I get really bad, thick ash, that I can just roll off in layers. Ugh. I don't insulate either. I can only leave my soaps out in the summer time, with no covering. You think maybe the type of climate you are in contributes to something like this happening? Like if you live in a high humidity area? I mean, I'm no meterologist...lol but I know I live in a high humidity area (don't you do too Carole?)... and right now it's cold. But it's not a "dry" cold per say. It's more of a "wet" cold feeling. KWIM? Might have something to do with the winter ash we get.
  11. Thanks Carrie. I think I'm gonna try it!
  12. Ok, where can I find this? I thought I seen it somewhere before, but after searching, I can't find anyone who carries it. I know they say that Children's Room from NG smells like it, but I don't think it does. Anyone know where I can find a dupe of this?
  13. The service is excellent, but IMO, the oils are weak. I tried some in MP the other day, and I just couldn't get the scent to come through without adding a ton of FO. Just imagine what CP'ing their FO would do... lol would probably burn off big time. I wouldn't even THINK about making a candle with these FO. But that's just my opinion. I've tried perfumes with it, and while it does well, I still had to use more oil to get the scent strength I wanted. And I guess it depends on what oil you are purchasing too. I do know, the Deseo Jennifer Lopez type smells better than the original! The original smells like dirt to me. Yuck.
  14. I'm thinking of Spring scents.....and I have no cool ideas in mind. What scents are you thinking about introducing for Spring and from where? I'm in need of some retail therapy at the moment...
  15. I agree with Scent Cellar. I got mine from Kangaroo Blue too. Practice with old soap scraps till you get the hang of it. Pretty soon, you'll be wanting to bevel EVERY bar of soap you can get your hands on. lol I love my beveler. oh, but be careful. I cut myself really bad more than once beveling soaps. That blade really slices. Whoa!
  16. Looks beautiful Jbren! Love your tops!
  17. Hey.... How about Semblance Luxuries?
  18. Semblance Scents? semblancescents.com Ruina's Bath Delights? Ruinasbathdelights.com Semblance Soap Company? SemblanceSoapCo.com Semblance Bath Factory? Semblancebathfactory.com Ruina Bath Co. ? RuinaBathCo.com Ruina's Bath? Ruinasbath.com What else do you make? Candles? Other B&B stuff?
  19. These are actually gorgeous! You know how hard it is to swirl MP soap? It's a witch to swirl! I could NEVER swirl MP. I tried, believe me, and I just ain't got the touch to swirl MP. I think you did an awesome job with these. I ADORE the yellow ones!
  20. I've never tried Bert's version. I do have 4 oz. of Oregon Trails' non-discoloring vanilla here to try in CP, but never got around to it. I think the one from OT is supposed to only turn your soap a beige color. I know out the bottle, it smells gorgeous. Sorry I couldn't help!!!
  21. I've tried jojoba beads in CP. Held up well. Don't use too much. I did. And it was sorta scratchy. Apricot Kernel Powder is nice too... but use a light hand. Green Tea Leaves Vita Burst Beads (from WSP, the one's with Vit. E in them) I think that's the secret to exfoliating soaps.. using a light hand. Too much and it's too rough. My next project I want to try is adding small crumbles of dried seaweed (nori sheets) to some CP. I found some at World Market and I'm dying to try it! Not sure if it will be exfoliating though.
  22. Wow. This is gross. I've never ordered from that place, and now that I'm hearing stuff like this... FO SHO I'm not ordering from there... EVER. That's just nasty.
  23. Well................ what did they say? lol I'm curious!
