  1. Is this JS's version? Didn't that one smell fruity? I'm trying to remember off hand here. If it is, maybe somewhere along the lines of fruity names?
  2. I have not smelled WYW's fo, but seeing as Sage and Anise are two different things, I would assume they are not similar. Hopefully someone else can come along and let you know how it compares.
  3. One of the few suppliers I can't even get rid of the fo's. They smell off and never sold well at all for us.
  4. I use soy and I get mine from Oregon Trails. I've had good luck with it. HTH any.
  5. I did the same as you, ordered a sample, fell in love with it, made stuff out of it and ordered more. I did not notice any change in mine. I use soy.
  6. Spritzing with alcohol seems to work for me.
  7. I have not had any grittiness in my bars. But I did notice that any fo high in vanilla and using a colorant like pink fd&c dyes actually turned my soap more orange than pick, without the browning. Also, just a thought here, but have you ever noticed any crystals in your fo to begin with? I know sw's pink sugar does adn they even have a disclaimer on ht bottle of vanilla based fo's and crytalization occurring. This may be the culprit and not the stabilizer after all. Just a thought.
  8. I sure have! I know of a couple of suppliers that have been banned from ordering from Southern Soapers and Scent Works. I guess they're just afraid of competition. :rolleyes2 Pretty soaps!
  9. There is a seller on ebay that I constantly buy from. She has the most gorgeous items at times (she sews many things like dolls, clothing, etc). Anyways, I don't know her, just love her stuff and I have actually won at least 20 auctions from her in a 2 year time frame (many I lost). I give many of the items as gifts for bdays, Christmas, teachers, etc. It is very well possible that repeat buyers are coming back for these candles. Instead of worrying about how well she sells them for, I'm thinking about how well I can sell mine.
  10. It's a step you have to decide to take. We took the step last year and although it was pricey, it was well worth it in the long run. The return came back a lot sooner than we anticipated. Good luck and congrats!
  11. An example, I received this package long ago, but as of today, it still says this: Label/Receipt Number: 0103 8555 7494 **** **** Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on September 4, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item. And another one I have received already: Label/Receipt Number: 0103 8555 7495 **** **** There is no record of this item. This one doesn't even appear to exist, but I received it last week. Both priority mail. If they are offering this track and confirm, they may want to update their tracking regularly then. Still a service I will not use to ship anything with. it does not appear to be reliable.
  12. Take your $.84 loss and go somewhere else. It's not worth it. I didn't see in the post that she said try anywhere.
