  1. Yep Eugenia is right,,I make Pillars ALL the time and have not had problems with this BUT I did in one of my container candles and it was because I had put to much FO in it,,,,,HTH:D
  2. Yes,,I use the 1343 as over pour to my Chunkies and I add nothing to the over pour,,come out good for me,,HTH
  3. Merideth, Im sorry I had to look back at my notes,,,No a HTP with the 104 didnt work for me,,In the testing of 464 with rose bouguet I used a HTP 1312 and it burned great with no mushrooming or soot but it was burning faster then I liked SO I decided to try it again the same way same FO and Jar,,I used a HTP 105 and it worked great,,no hang up, no mushrooming or soot and it has a slower burn and throws GREAT!!
  4. Hi Everyone!!! Personally I have been testing 464 since we did the testing for GB. I dont get that waxy, burnt smell on the last burns and it keeps its scent all the way down. I use the wide mouth Kerr canning 16oz and I wicked it with a HTP 105 with 1.5 of Rose bouquet and I burned all the way down with no problems. Oh and I also added 2% of frostop but that shouldnt make any difference in the throw,,I get a good hot/cold throw with this. Like we say though,,what works for one may not work for another. Now to me I like the 444 and it has great hot/cold throw,,I just didnt like pouring at low temps and for me it had to many air bubbles. Now the 449 is also a good wax. It is just how it works for you, a personal preference,,
  5. I wonder if anyone has played around with mixing 464 and 444? geek Hmm I may try that,,I have a wee bit of 444 left from when we tested it,,,,I think I will try it.

  10. Hi,,Im testing the GB464 and I am using Just scents and Peaks FO's and have had some good luck in these,, Peaks: Almond Pastries Rose Bouquet Heather storm watch Vanilla Passion French Vanilla and Amber Just scent: Black Cherry Berrie Breeze Sweet Pea Pink Bombshell Island Mango Sex on the beach Snowtop: Raspberry Dream Orange Blossom So far these have given me a great Hot throw as well as cold throw,,Also you need to make sure you have the proper wick as this too will aid in the throw. HTH
  11. I for one like the Votive / Pillar wax so I can do both,,to me its a waste of money to buy one wax for votives,,But JMHO,,, IGI-1343 is translucent and I know several people that use it. HTH
  12. I just noticed this with my 464 and rose bouquet,,,,I put it in a cooler place and it worked fine BUT here is my question,,what happens when we ship it now that the weather is changing HOT???
  13. Right now I have about 50 scents to offer,,On my site I let them know if there is a scent not listed I can get it,,I have had to do this only once so far!!!,,,I believe in having a wide variety and I am ADDICTED to FO,,LOL
  14. HI,,I have to agree with Mystic,,Zinc wicks are not good for soy and they do NOT self trim at all!!! LOL,,,I still use them from time to time in my paraffin but I have to watch which FOs I use because when I put them out, they will smoke but not always. Depends on the FO IMHO.
  15. You are welcome!! When I first started tarts I only used Pillar wax until a lady on here gave me some advice on the 25% to 75% ratio and my customers love them and they look awesome.
  16. I put tarts in 1 pint jars and sell them for my fundraisers and they go over very well,,,,
  17. Actually 25% container and 75% pillar wax is a great combination,,,HTH
