  1. I am sorry. The shea butter cp soap shreds.
  2. Candybee, I have some shea butter shreds form Voyaguer and last night melted abot a lb of it with a couple tablespoons of sunflower oil. The product seems to be a little crumbly.aybe I did not melt enough? I had it on the double boiler at least an hour.
  3. If you have an antique sword I would not do anything to it. You will probably hurt the value of it.
  4. You probably have to go mail order. We once bought a gold leaf kit and it included that special glue. But real swords are not made of silver and would probably rust not tarnish? Krylon may be a good bet!
  5. Real cellophone works as do Glad containers which are #5.
  6. Welcome back! Why does it have to be real silver?
  7. I had good results with lx wicks in 4630 but that wick sounds awful large. What is the jar diameter?
  8. I do not know how many men buy candles but it seems they might prefer no leprechaun or the impish kind. Maybe that is not important.
  9. I like them all but if you have to do just one, I would go with #2.
  10. Thanks, I will have to try that!
  11. I can no longer work with scent and have 120 lbs of Astorlite V pelleted wax. Love this wax but what can I do with it besides give it to Goodwill? TIA!
  12. Real cellophane is biodegradable and will not allow scent or oil to leach out. Cellobags.com.
  13. Yes that looks like a new version of the one I have. It works great. The aluminum funnel is easy to clean up with a heat gun or on a paper towel on a cookie sheet in the oven.
  14. It is packed away but look up eaby item 351925094510. Clamps on to the funnel or a coffee can.
  15. I solved the problem in an antique store. Small kitchen funnels made of aluminum paired with a handle with a clamp on one end. Pours are neat and tidy.
  16. It has been a long time since I smelled it. I recall it is a heavy oil and spicy but that is all I remember. Sorry.
  17. 6% is plenty if you use good oil. My 2 3\4" candles could scent a 500 sq ft space with 4630 and 6% FO. 10% will drown your wick or make a huge flame. If you want a candle recipe use a small jelly canning jar, 4630, HTP 52, 6% FO and use a light FO. Cannot tell you which fo since I used to use Peaks but their cranberry worked and the Christmas Spruce did too. Bakery scents are hard to wick. You may be pushing it by trying to get this right for Christmas this year. Good luck.
  18. I used paraffin and cut down to 4 5 percent when I had this problem That worked and throw was still good.
  19. I saw one person who put them on edge in tubs. Maybe shallow stacking tubs. Also saw clams with attached tabs for hanging them.
  20. Peaks Hollyberry. I think we used it as dog repellant.
