Have you tried using the RRD series wicks? I use them exclusively for veggie waxes.

I use my heat gun and napkins.

I sent in free full sized products plus $100.00 for the MTV movie awards. What I got in return was a bunch of PR invites to other awards ceremonies that would cost me more than $5,000 each venue. It was a big waste of my time and energy...not to mention my product and money.

They create an account and start shopping immediately. 2. you have a website of your own. - Yes, much easier that way. 3. Do you dictate the price that the retailer sells your candle at? ( I would think the answer is no) - No, let the retailer sell it at a price they are comfortable with. 4. Do you put your website on the label of your wholesale acct candles? - Yes, on all wholesale products. 5. What is the relationship of the store retail price vs web site price? - Doesnt matter to me. I've never had an issue with this. 6. do retailers get upset if web site price is lower? - Not applicable. 7. do retailers get upset if web site is on candle label or box? - They know that they are purchasing wholesale. Our information is on every wholesale item. If they dont want our information they need to sign up as a private label account. Terms are totally different.

Are you all mixing at 50/50 percent?

I have mixed the pine and peppermint in the past. I called it "Holidays" - it was a 50/50 mix.

I had to switch my peppermint supplier because the price increased by $6.00 per lb. This new peppermint is sooooo strong that I would like to mix it with something else. What are your favorite mixers for peppermint?

I have found the RRD series work best on my palm pillars. For that size of pillar, I would start with a number 34

I have a private label account who supplies me with their Lavender EO. I use to add .8oz to each lb of wax and they liked them very much. Now they have asked me to use 1oz of their EO per lb of wax. They like the throw of the 1oz per lb much better. I dont use any special additives when using EO's - just the EO and the wax.

I heat my wax to 225 degrees. I make sure I warm up my molds nice and hot. I then add the FO and pour into the molds. I cover the molds with a box to make sure they cool very slowly. Some candles require poking relief holes and others do not. Mine depends on how hot I pour. Good luck - I sell alot of the round 4x9 pillars. THey are very pretty!
