  1. I use the RRD series exclusively. I have all sizes and use them in pure soy wax and pure palm wax candles. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!
  2. You are sooooo organized compared to me. Can you please come and help me?
  3. For years, I used RRD 34 in the 3inch palm pillars and RRD 40 in the 4inch palm pillars. Since then, my supplier no longer supplies the wax.
  4. 4oz containers or even tealights work best in my opinion.
  5. Hi Honey!!! Its been a looong time. Whats new?
  6. http://www.candletech.com/techniques-and-ideas/marble-pillar-instructions/ It's been many years since I've used this technique. Good luck
  7. Thanx everyone. I appreciate the kind words
  8. Its been a loooooong time since I've had updated pics taken of my soaps. 9. Back in the day when I did home parties, I didnt make a formal presentation but I did go over the sizes and prices of each candle. I gave a brief bio of myself and my business. I would definitely play games otherwise it can get kinda boring. I love playing games at home parties. Make sure the prizes you give out for the games are your actual candles. Nobody wants dollar store prizes at a candle home party. And yes, serve them some wine. Women mixed with wine means more money spent. In my experience anyway
  10. Just try to pick one rate and stick with it. I have a supplier who would charge a flat rate of $5.00 then all of a sudden this year they increased to $10.00 If you are going to increase, do it gradually.
  11. For the longest I have shipped one flat rate. Its worked out best for me.
  12. I placed an order on May 25th. Got a response a few days later and my husband picked up my order with no issues. What was the result of your order?
  13. Plastic containers from the dollar store are a huge help for me.
  14. I would like to de-clutter my workspace. Get rid of supplies that I no longer use. Look at the classifieds for some good deals
  15. You file the claim with UPS, you get the money, you reimburse the customer for the wholesale cost of the candles.
  16. I charge $200 per custom request. If they wanted 3 fragrances, that would be $600 total. I would test the oil in all three of my waxes. One soy pillar, one soy container and one palm pillar. I would make two of each candle. One for the customer and one for me. I've been in business a little over six years and I have only had one customer who has paid the $$$$
  17. Can anyone offer another name for this scent? I dont think the name explains it properly. Here is the description from the site. Although I have a bad cold, I smell more apples and cinnamon. A wonderful complex blend of apples, candied yams, marshmallows, sweet cream butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, crushed cinnamon bark and fresh cloves
  18. what exactly did you order? I would contact the supplier and ask them directly. or once you get the boxes, weigh them and go to the website of the shipping company and calculate it yourself.
  19. The save on scents dupe is fabulous in soap.
  20. thanks Vicky. I havent done it in years as well but a wholesale account would like some. Anyone have them available?
