  1. I offer scent of the month on my website. Each month I pick one scent offered in different containers at 20% off retail price. To date, no one has purchased a scent of the month:sad2: Its offered in the right hand column of the main page. Maybe they just bypass that special? Who knows. www.ebcandles.com
  2. I dont know exactly why - thats their policy. You would have to contact them requesting the explanation.
  3. Anyone carry this insurance? I carried their general liability plus business property beginning in October and just cancelled my policy this month. They dont cover my products if I sold wholesale so I had to find another alternative. FYI - they dont offer a refund on their General Liability Insurance so please be careful about this. I had no idea this portion was non-refundable and now I am out of $250.00 I am sooo pissed off. I have written a letter to the president requesting my refund. Be careful and dont make the same mistake I did.
  4. Here is my new Dolce Amaro Olive Oil Soap - thanks to Mary for the unique name! It means Bitter Sweet in Italian. Its my special mix of Grapefruit, Strawberry and Lemon. Yum, yum, yum!!! Swirls are coral mica and copper mica in a non colored base. Thanks for looking. Carmen
  5. I placed an order last week for 4 cases of 4oz clear top tins and now I get an email stating they are on back order till the 30th. Does anyone have any they can spare ASAP? I need at least 20. Thanks in advance, Carmen
  6. I cant find them on that site. can you provide a link to them?
  7. Depends on who is doing it. could range from 200 to 2000 or more:shocked2:
  8. Thanks for thinking about me. I got an email last night informing the same. Sorry you are going through this mess.
  9. Oh, but you have to share now that you got us all wondering:yay:
  10. Funny you should mention that. I paid to have my site advertised and I can find it on the site. I paid back in December. I know I read that she doesnt update till the 15th of every month but its the 20th and I still dont see it. I emailed yesterday and I havent received a response. If you hear anything, please update us. Carmen
  11. What about naughty soaps? I make some that are a big hit at bridal parties!!! Shrink wrap them with a little hang tag.
  12. Usually run with your batch size minimums. If you make a batch of 12 soaps, then its easier to sell all 12. If you make a batch of 8 candles, make your min 8 candles of each scent. Its totally up to you what you want to set your min at.
  13. Id like to insert a border on a label. Does anyone know if I can change the color of the border? I dont see any options other than border size. TIA, Carmen
  14. For that specific jar you could do 1. Hang tags 2. Label on top of lid 3. Label on botton of jar Those are your only options. I think for that jar the tags would look best.
  15. I agree, Fairway has great pallet pricing but again, you must in pallet quantity. Sometimes, I dont have the 800.00 to 1000.00 to put in glass inventory. For those of us that dont want to buy in pallet quantities AND can save by picking up, its a great deal;)
  16. I agree Trish but look around and honestly tell me what is made in the USA? Other than our great smellin candles, soap and lotions?
  17. I picked up 2 cases of jars last weekend. The owner Ron and his wife are super nice and have this HUGE storefront where they sell their own soy candles and have this really nice setup in the back where they house the jars along with their wax melter (huge) and other items where they make the candles. Since then I have poured about 12 tester candles using the 8oz metro jars. The jars are thinner than the libbey jars but i havent had any issues with them breaking during my test burns. Be aware that although the jars are called 8oz jars, they only hold 7oz of wax. The quality is great, the service is top notch and the price is PERFECT...what more can you ask for?
  18. Hey girlie, Niles is about 40 minutes North from me. I took the 294 to Golf Road. I saw your post and responded with "call me for lunch" lol. Would love to get together and chat with ya!

  21. A good lemon thats more tart than sweet is Bittercreeks Lemon Pucker. My customers go crazy over that one in soy.
  22. Has anyone tried Camden Grey's Flavor Oils? Which have you tried and were they any good? TIA, Carmen
