i've noticed recently when it comes to donations you are no longer the one who chooses how much you donate... we donate to breast cancer reaserch, and the state police every year. every year they call us and we pledge $25 cause for some reason there's no way to donate less than that but whatever. then they send us a 'bill' with a date on it. if you don't 'donate' by then they start calling and their worse then bill collectors

its crazy isn't it when i got into this i didn't realize my lack of math skills was gonna screw me up so bad. i add by smidges, dabs, etc... i just got a scale before i was 'weighing' my wax by going "hmm when i poured a 1lbs bag into this it came up to somewhere around here.. that looks right"

ok best i can help you with is if its 8ounces of wax you would need 1/2 oz fo... so i would gues just a smidge over 1/2 oz lol .. i suck at math it took me 20 mins to figure out how much to use in order to make my strawberry and strawberries and cream when i only had 1 oz of strawberry lol

i need a couple 2lb pouring pots but can't find them anywhere for less then $7... does anywhere know where i can get them cheaper

you also have to decide type of wax that will change your kit if your looking into soy i know natures garden has a nice kit... candlewic also had kits for different waxes

ok i'm pretty much strictly 4 oz. tins i do some tarts and tealights too but my tins are what mainly sells right now i use clear adress labels to label the sides of my can but i'm thinking maybe a round label on the top would be better what does everyone think also using round labels do i need a special program?

wow if it weren't for hubby i would prob be mortgaging the house to supply myself lol... its like a drug addiction. wonder if i can pimp my hubby out (any takers?). lol no but seriously he keeps me in check i pretty much have to explain why i need what wax usually isn't a problem but the FO's he looks at me and if its not a scent i've already used he does his do you need it will anyone buy it whats it for like he's not gonna let me buy 16oz of pumpkin pie when there's a week left in december.. smart man. he's the money maker i'm the stay at home and slave over the house one so he's gotta rein me in every once in a while. i actually sat down and figured out what i've spent / what i've made over the last couple of months and i don't think i've done to bad i'v only spent about $300 and i've made about $60.. so not bad in two months. thank god for my mom selling my stuff at work

yes i've read alot of complaints about that one... i'm gonna try the whole if i don't offer it i won't have to make it thing but that already hasn't worked cause i got lavender and juniper breeze requested soo... hopefully i'll get lucky though

that when i'm making candles in more than one scent i should pick scents that blend well together... candy cane and eggnog YUCK... usually i'm much better at this but for some reason today felt like candy cane not cinnamon not gingerbread i'm a dope... oh well i've got three more scents to poor then i can relax for a couple days (trying to put tealight scent samples together my mom is my candle pimp she takes them to work and three days later i have money for more supplies gotta love mommies lol

i get most of my stuff from natures garden... i use soy wax and all their scents that i've tried so far throw very well in the soy ( i get my wax through them also )

yeah i actually have a couple orders but i'm tempted to tell them i got a bad batch of wax and keep them for myself

i think its cute and will look very pretty on a mirror (mirrors always look good as part of a centerpeice) you should post the ultrasound pics... i love looking at them so long as i can figure out whats what lol in my first ultrasound my daughter looked like a little bean it was so cute then after that it was just blobs and no matter what people pointed out to me never saw anything but blobs
