  4. Haven't tried the French Vanilla Amber, but Spruce Christmas Tree is awesome. My best seller for Christmas. It does not spell like Pine Sol.
  5. I've only tried Peak's and I like it a lot. It is a very steady seller for me.
  6. Jasmine...smells like bad breath to me. I have customers who buy it faithfully, they love it.
  7. Great show!!! Congrats Rockin'!!!
  8. Awwwww, honey, that just bites!! Sorry to hear that you guys had such a horrible day. I've seen those people at shows and they are horrible. I wasn't even a vendor at the time and I found myself wishing for them to get a flat tire on the way home (I know, that's mean) From what we've all seen here, you make awesome candles. It just sucks that you had such horrible sales. Whoever set up the spots should not have had you all lumped together.
  9. Welcome Ross. It sounds like you have pillar wax. I would read around the board a bit...look in the gallery also. People have posted some amazing candles. It's enough to inspire anyone. Please make sure you are safe when you do this. Do not put any fragrance other than those made for candles. Do not melt wax directly over an open flame or in the oven...you need a double boiler. We wouldn't want you getting hurt trying to make candles.
  10. I made mine without liners and when they were dry they popped right out of the mold.
  11. That's what I'm getting...something with a Jamboree.
  12. I use one from Alabaster. Never tried WYW.
  13. Carmen, babe, how do you do it? I'm going crazy making sure I have enough for these two.
  14. Yeah, how'd it turn out? Inquiring minds want to know.
  15. I must be crazy. I scheduled a craft show on November 5th and we are doing an open house here on November 10th. Somebody help me screw my head on a little tighter, wouldya?
  16. Now that you say that Robin, I must be figuring something out incorrectly. My cost was more around 30 cents a piece. Much too high.
  17. I use a Mulberry from Alabaster. I could send you a couple of oz. if you want to try it. It's a very good seller for me.
  18. So, I'm liking these bath melts. Was wondering how people are packaging them and what you are charging for them. After my packaging and stuff, seems to be too expensive.
  19. I took a shot at making Bunny's bath melts. I think they came good for a first timer. I can't wait to try them out. Thanks for the recipe.
  20. Never mind...I should have thought before I typed.
