  1. Love WT&G. A great seller for me since my GF made me get it.
  2. I'll have to check out the cost of the souffle cups (that's what those little condiment cups are called). That's a great idea.
  3. I'm so psyched I can't even see straight (well, you know what I mean ) My friend contacted me to do a second fundraiser for his cheering squad to pay for a trip to a competition. He is turning in the orders tonight. Fantastic. I'm thrilled to do it. We both made out pretty decent last year. Then, one of my customers recently ask me to donate some tarts to a ritzy county club tricky tray. I agreed. Well, alot of the women there are involved in an organization with young girls and they want to do a fundraiser. There are 150+ girls in her town that are part of this organization. I'm am giggly with joy here, kids. Can't tell you how psyched I am!!! Now, with my friend, it's a small group, so I just give him some wax "chips" in each of the 8 scents to use as sniffies. How would I do this for 150+ kids? 150 x 8 = 1,200. It would cost way too much to give out wax samples. Any idea?
  4. I'm with Bunny on this one. I don't make soap, but I have a nephew that has many food allergies. Peanuts and tree nuts are hard because of the oil... High chance of cross contamination with other things.
  5. I think it may be your color choices. I would think (I could be wrong) that darker chunks and lighter overpour would show up better.
  6. This would be wonderful. I'm actually getting ready to send out B&B test items (finally). I'm also testing a new candle wax that I could second opinions on.
  7. Sounds interesting. I love mixing scents.
  8. Tuscan Nights was ok. I didn't care for it, but it was nice and strong. I did not care for Vineyard at all.
  9. Oooohh...I've got to try that!! Did you massage it into your skin and then do the steam thing?
  10. Welcome to CT. There is a wealth of information here and wonderful people.
  11. I don't have any advice on the candles you are making, just wanted to welcome you to the board.
  12. Hi Fifty, as someone who used to be a heavy smoker, I would say yes. To be safe, clean and paint that room before you put your stuff in there. There is a very good chance of them picking up the smoke odors.
  13. Nope...and I've been trying for a while.
  14. That's what I did. I melted everything, poured into a mold and let harden. They popped right out. I also tried them in the tubes and that worked well also. I guess it's just a matter of preference. I'm just trying to decide how to package them so I can figure out pricing. I love this recipe.
  15. I try to take at leat 2 of each fragrance. I take as much as I possible can. My customers definitely seem to like cash and carry and I don't have much in the way of orders to make.
  16. I think you should just tell her that your formulas are proprietary but you would be happy to supply her at wholesale once she is a registered business.
  17. Hey Heather! Soya and soy are the same thing.
  18. Don't know what you should be doing differently, but I have to tell you...I love this one.:highfive: Good job.
  19. So..did you try it? How did it turn out?
  20. I think I need to adjust mine a little better. While I do like it, seems if I'm not careful my wick placement is off a little. Like the rods aren't sturdy enough, kwim?
  21. Thanks for all of the replies. I think I got back to everyone. Sorry I couldn't buy from everyone. If I didn't answer you, I apologize. May have been accidentally deleted.
