went to NG yesterday and scooped up some hot fudge brownies to mix up a blend of chocolate covered strawberry yumma yumma!!! also got pink sugar and the vanilla honey love dust-the VHLD smells like chocolate,vanilla, and honey super sickly sweet, now I am brainstorming on names cupids magic sweets for my sweet cupid's love dust thinking of call,ing pink sugar Give Me Some Sugar, Sugar! I am all v-day crazed right now! anyone else feel like they are way behind schedule for v-day like the stuff should have been made before christmas so it can already be out and for sale now instead of still in testing/creating stages? and maybe out there by mid Jan.

Is the soap calc site no more? I kept trying to bring it up and it wouldn't work so I went to our sticky and clicked the link and it is a dead end.... is it gone? which one is everyone using now. I wanted to cut my recipe down to use my new 1 lb mold.......

I'm sorry to see such weak reviews for this. I got a sample of it in my last order and liked it better than the twilight woods and I would have put them in a smiliar category. I will have to put it in some wax a check it out.

The turkey fryer I am using has been in use for 5+ years! love it! atleast once a year 1300 pounds of wax is put through it in about 1-2 weeks time on top of the year long abuse it takes

you can get them generally around here for $80 but I have seen as low as $50

I love the home, body, soul slogan. LOVE LOVE LOVE the peace signs, and hearts for you vowels! my 2 cents would be to make it bigger on your label. I think it would appeal to even more people. I like it stamped in the soap too!! again I would go bigger!

I did a little google research and the last I saw talk of significant increase was back in 2005 so I figured that the cost is just normal increase but geez oh pete! I will be considering a bit longer before I decide to add anything with it to the line.

NG's cotton candy. The original one. I think they have a blue cotton candy now too but I haven't tried that one. if you use it in B&B though expect browning

I haven't made milk bath in a longgg time. The co-op thread for the milk jugs got me thinking about it. I was at Aldi and saw a 1lb 9 oz. bag of it for $5.99. Is it just me or is that high? Is it a good price for it now-a-days?

The weight of the water messes with the amount of lye in your batch of soap. you could never know how much lye is or isn't in your batch. your superfat would be off from the calculations in your recipe completely changing the properties of you soap. As far as dyhydrating...I would not take any chances. You could really hurt your self. I would not add any heat to it!

what kind of car do you have? gas to drive 400 miles and back with 600-700 pounds of wax in your car may just be more $$$ than paying the shipping..... Oh how I wish I could drive to peaks though! I'd be broke because of FO!:tiptoe: OBN is a great copmany! I would go with them anyway! Great quality products. I drive to pick up from them when I need stuff. Infact it is almost time for the CO myself. If you guys want to check what actual shipping would be from 44138 I might be able to ship to you. I am pretty sure they do actual shipping cost though and I doubt it would save much if anything. Have you guys considered having your orders shipped to a business address, sometimes you can get a cheaper rate to ship business to business if you live in a less traveled area oh and lovemylabs...where are you located? I can get lye local in the cleveland area. I think you might be someplace close to me.

I use lavender eos for some things, but my best seller for lavender in candles is Peaks. My best sellers for soaps are peaks but I blend it with moonlight path or lavender vanilla from sockmonkey.
