  1. After a lot of testing, the CD's have been my favorite. Good to hear of your success. :highfive:
  2. I'm trying to find info on the benefits of rose clay in soap. An article mentions that it eliminates excess oil on the skin while another article mentions that it moisturizes. Can someone shed some light? TIA :-)
  3. I just made M&P soap with this FO from Peaks. I actually use less of it than other FO's because it'll knock yer socks off! Love the scent! I haven't used it in candles or tarts, yet.
  4. Your labels are very chic! Love them!
  5. Thanks for all the responses. I've never had to set the paper stock settings before and it all worked just fine in the past. But I tried that today, too just to see if it would help. No dice. This is just a sudden thing that started a couple of days ago and is just getting worse. I've even tried to adjust my template to match with the misaligned printing and that doesn't even work. I don't get it. It works just fine with regular paper. I don't know if this printer has a thickness lever. Will check... Good luck with your printing, Steph!
  6. I'm doing it both ways and neither is making it work the way it use to. I just now 'cleaned' the feed rollers which weren't really that dirty and the problem still exists. Could it be the sensor? Am I going to have to buy a whole new printer? :undecided
  7. All of a sudden, my HP printer feed isn't working right. It will print nicely on regular paper but not on my labels anymore. When printing labels, the alignment is all off as if the feed is grabbing the paper too late. It never use to do this before. I've got a lot of labels I have to print and these orders are going to be late if I can't get this problem worked out. Can anyone chime in with some advice? My printer is the HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One. Thanks so much in advance!
  8. Very elegant looking! I'll bet they smell terrific, too!
  9. Where online do you order for the items that you can have shipped to your local Dollar Tree? I was purchasing a specific item from a local Dollar Tree store and they're no longer stocking it. I'd like to see if the "online" Dollar Tree (?) carries it. Where do I find this? TIA
  10. When I use this FO in a wickless candle or tart, it smells awesome. But when I use it in a wicked candle, I get a fuel smell as it burns. I have to add a wee bit of vanilla to it to cut the fuel smell. I also use this FO in soap....it changes completely and has a fabulous scent.
  11. Beautiful pillars!! The colors are perfect for that fragrance!
  12. I'm not sure this wholesale request is legitimate...(the older I get, the more gullable). I do have to laugh, though.... I received an email from someone out of state requesting a wholesale price sheet for my candles. She/he goes on to say that they want private label and requests that I use different jars besides the JJ's I show in my photos. By now I'm thinking, "Well, if my label isn't the lure and my jars suck...just what is it about my candles that are appealing?" I'm not ready to spend a fortune testing new jars. Have any of you had this kind of request?
  13. Wow! These are gorgeous! Your fragrances go well with the colors you've chosen. Love the texture!!
  14. I got mine today, too. I'm always impressed with their speedy service. I bought a couple of their newest fragrances, too. Can't wait to try them!
  15. This is how I do mine, also. I've never had a problem. But then, I don't make as many at a time as you do, Carole. I hope you find a solution.
  16. Very beautiful soaps! You really have a talent!
  17. Very pretty! I love the palm wax pillars! Everything about them is fabulous!
  18. I got the email, too. I love their FO's!
  19. 1oz per pound is nearly a 6% load. I can't use more than 3% in the soaps I use or the FO irritates my skin.
  20. Thanks so much for the responses! I was looking at the LabColors at Brambleberry today, too. Will check them out further. Thanks again!
  21. Thanks for responding, elfcat. I've used the "Life of the Party" liquid colors from Michaels and JoAnn's. They work great when coloring soap one color. But when I do layers or embeds, the colors bleed together. I'm not having much luck with the Gel Tones, either. I read (as mentioned) that Select Shades will bleed in M&P, too. What to do..what to do?
