t-50 is what you want. It's the best. It is expensive but a little goes a long way

I don't think the problem was that they switched suppliers. The supplier/manufacturer switched paper/material quality.

Whose labels are you using? I read awhile back on the forum that the label quality from online labels and a few others had changed due to a change of the materials/paper the manufacturer was using. Just a thought...maybe?

While we're talking soap...have you ever soaped NG's frosted lime cupcake? I put that in lotion too and was hoping it would soap well.

I found a small sample of lemon sorbet (from fragranceandcraftsupply.com) and put it in lotion last night and wow is it wonderful. OOB I was sure I wouldn't like it. Went to the website and everything is half price! A good thing but leads me to believe she might be selling out to close down. Does anyone know of another supplier that carries the same FO? I hate to add something to my line only to have the supplier go away. I will email her to be sure, but just wondering if there are other good ones out there.

Oh everyone, I am so sorry I deserted this thread...truth is I forgot about it.:rolleyes2 Embarrassed, but I haven't poured the new wax yet. I put away my candle stuff over the holidays to make room for company and just haven't had the time or desire to haul it all out again. I will try to get a sample poured soon. wow, I don't find that at all with this base. Maybe a different batch? Are your fragrances all from the same supplier?

When I first started "trying" to make candles my poor hubby couldn't understand why I was having sooooo much trouble making a good candle. He told me..."I made them all the time in elementary and Sunday School. Your just melt crayons with wax, pour it into a milk carton, stick in a wick and light it. What's the big deal?" Now, mind you...this was from the man who, after I spent an awful night with the "comode huggin" stomach flu said, "I'll bet if you took a dip in the pool, it would make you feel better." In fairness to him, this was after an hour and a half of tending our then four year old and six month old. Go figure.

Just a side question about the lotion base. I have the same one and finding the base smell hard to cover up with lighter fragrances. After it soaks in I can still smell the hemp odor on my skin. Are you finding this with the lotion? It's too bad they can't eliminate the smell of the base. It's a great lotion!
