  1. I've had so many bad messes to clean up that I now use both mold sealer (or plumber's putty) and duct tape.
  2. Sliver, I never once thought that what happened to you was funny in the least. Your situation was what made me apprehensive about HCM from the start. I acknowledge that I did not pay attention as seriously as I should have back then and let others convince me otherwise. I'm just glad that I got out when I did.
  3. I haven't commented on all of your recent pics, but I have certainly admired your talent. This one is just as beautiful as the rest. Keep em coming--I'm almost getting motivated to get off my ass and pour something. But, only almost since it's easier to look at yours.
  4. I knew that a thread such as this was bound to happen. I was just surprised that it took as long as it did. Birdielovr, be glad it was only a month. I got ripped off for a year's subscription. HCM won the pp dispute, so that's that. I learned a valuable lesson about trusting someone's word just because of the recommendations of others on this board. I ignored the warning signs. HCM flies just under the radar, so never take what is promised as the truth. Watch your subscriptions carefully. What baffles me is that Frank very smugly bragged to me about how many clients are with HCM and that I was the only unhappy one. It was also clear to me that he got a chuckle over being able to keep my $$ legally since I was so gullible.
  5. I haven't used this recipe for cp but have for hp. With hp, it didn't take long at all to harden, and the bars were really nice.
  6. I had someone get my stuff transferred in a HURRY off of HCM a few months back.
  7. Geez, I didn't get that email and have another paid up year with good old Frank. No wonder he offered me a lifetime of hosting since he never intended to keep his word. About the only thing he's good for is ripping you off for a quick buck.
  8. I've used micas for detail on a couple of seashell soaps that I do.
  9. I have no clue why I chose this, but I did Dreamcatcher in a purple. I did the Celtic Moonspice is a deep blue.
  10. I don't sell on etsy, but I BUY! Just this past week I purchased from 2 separate etsy sellers and found their links on a forum. I'm trying to restrain myself from making a 3rd order from a baked goods seller that I wasn't looking for--found her on a forum.
  11. These are absolutely adorable, and your pic is perfect. If that's your etsy store link, I'll check it out for sure and keep a lookout for the matching earrings. I've got 2 adolescent nieces that would adore them.
  12. The view from my monitor is beautiful! I also have mold envy.
  13. They are both beautiful! I love your vibrant colors and the effect you have. Now I'm feeling like I should make my hairdresser something special, too.
  14. That's a beautiful candle! Did you get the palm from CS? I've yet to venture into that realm.
  15. Everything looks very professional. Your hard work is showing!
  16. Love the look you did get! I soaped the one from SW and was very disappointed. The scent faded almost immediately. I also tried a 3 color combination, but I ended up with a very dark brown. I did use gm, but I was still surprised that I could see nothing but brown.
  17. I love the look you achieved. Beautiful!
  18. Hi, Judi! Looks like it's all coming together nicely for you. The candle pics sure do show your vibrant colors! Good job!
  19. Those are beautiful, and that style takes me forever! BTW--I have lantana in my yard, too. I'm slowly trying to replace the annuals with perennials.
  20. http://www.chemistrystore.com/Shampoo_Concentrates-Blend_NBB_1.html probably this
  21. I'm definitely impressed at how fast they get my orders to me over on the East coast.
  22. Yep, my mother made those back in the 60s with milk cartons. I have no idea what she used for wicks, coloring, or if they were scented. Seems I do remember some really crappy burns.
