Actually that address is not for contact info it's one of the locations we sell at, I guess I should make another page to put that on or adjust the craft show page to show this information. Thanks for your input!

Thanks Jenn! Group pics sound like a great idea! Just a matter of that darn light box. I'll see if I can somehow make the product links more bold, just have to do a little messing around to see what I can up with. Thanks for your input Nancy!

Okay my web site is essentially finished. All that I feel I have left to do is take pictures in a light box, size and add them. There are a few pics on the site right now but they will all be replaced with more professional looking pics once as I said I make a light box--just waiting for spring classes to end so that I'm not driving to classes or working constantly. Please keep in mind the pictures thing and be constructively helpfull! www.heavenlycreationsoklahoma.com If the site is a disaster and I need to chuck it and start over please dont' be too scary when you say so *faint*

Does anyone have suggestions on what programs to use for picture editing for pics to be used on your website? Other than adding well edited pics my website it pretty much finished and I wanted to know what you guys have used to edit pics.

How funny, I am interested in someone making a logo for me to use on my web site, with possibilities for my labels at some time. Okay, I know this is a topic that is revisted too much sometimes, but...I was looking at the candles on BBW site and very few of the scents actually say the are trademarked or copyrighted or registered. so, if say the scent is mango mandarin, do we have to put type after it when it doesn't appear to be trademarked or copyrighted or registered by BBW? If you look, sweet pea & warm vanilla sugar appear to be registered but not mango mandarin or japanese cherry blossom. Sorry if this appears stupid, but when I noticed that only somethings had marks next to the scents I started wondering. TIA

Has anyone heard of Grain Dealers insurance or are using it for your candle business? I got the name from the candle cauldron site as an insurance company that covers candles in Okahoma. Any info is helpful. TIA Jenn

Almost everything i have read states that millcreeks 125 is actually GB 415. Maybe someone else can back this up though. -

Heck, if you're in a small town, just ask one of your local quickstops if you can put up a sign that you will buy back empty beer cans. You ought to have them coming out of the woodwork with that--more beer money! -

I've been looking at all of peak's m&p bases and trying soap is seriously tugging at my mind right now. But I have a question, is it better to start off with a glycerine base or are the other bases okay to add whatever to? I guess I'm just trying to figure out if for instance the aloe vera base is just a glycerine base with the aloe already mixed in there... Please assist me with this I need to make something so that my mind can be at peace for a little while.

As far as federal income taxes are concerned if you are a hobby.... You cannot 'lose' more money than you 'make'. So if your hobby income is $500, but you lost $750, you can only claim a loss of $500 to match the $500 hobby income. A hobby cannot produce an actual loss of income wheras a business can.

I am needing some pics for my webiste such as a pile of blueberries to represent the scent catagory or a pile of almonds or cinnamon sticks, etc. Does anyone know where a person can go about getting these types of pics? Most of these are not the 'clip art' type of pic, so that avenue seems to be a dead end. Any help would be appreciated.

Absolutely! You only pay taxes if the seller and buyer are in the same state. Unfortunately some states seem to think that we also need to collect county/city tax for anyone in your same state. I haven' had a chance yet to check with the oklahoma tax commission but supposedly they have changed their ways and we do not need to collect the individual county/city taxes in state any longer. As I understand it however, we are suppose to post something on our sites stating that customers in other states may be subject to use taxes as their states see fit.

Okay, so now I'm really confused because when I went to the small business office they said that I needed to collect each individual towns rates when I sell online. oh and i don't send in a different check to each county, I have a paper that I fill in where I list each individual city and each individual county, calculate everything and send it in to the state and then I presume that they send it out to the correct places. I'll check some where else and see if they people at the small business place were wrong with what they told me. Thanks
