  1. Thanks! So Southern Scentsations if a definite option if neither of the other ones are true dupe of the cologne. Now does anyone know about Just Scent or Jody's with their respective Fierce dupes?
  2. From searching the forum, it looks like Jody's, Just Scent and Southern Scentsations all have this. Could someone please review them for me? It sounds like Southern Scentsations may be spicier than the cologne and therefore not the best of the three. If you know of another location that sells this dupe, please let me know! My customer didn't tell me which one she wanted and while she likes the one I have, I want to keep trying for the correct one (fierce). TIA
  3. I love BCN's honey coco mango. My co-workers say they feel like they should be on a beach somewhere tanning. lol And needless to say my sister owns a tanning salon, so I'm going to rename it to match the salon name and sell it there as 'their' scent.
  4. My sister swears up and down that it smells like maple nut goodies ( the candy), so maybe something like that, but people would probably have the "that's going to make me eat" reaction to that name. Lol, I guess I'm no help.
  5. This is the only 'supply' that I can get locally. I only live 35 miles from his store. lol
  6. Butternut pumpkin is one of my best sellers. Another best seller for me year round is pomegranate cider! I also like their sugar cookie, its buttery. Their gingerbread is great, but I don't like their snickerdoodle-it's like a plain cookie no cinnamon at all which is what I think of myself. OOB I preferred peaks pumpkin spice, but in wax I prefer Lonestar's pumpkin spices, so if you don't already have one I'd try it.
  7. Most people that want to make rolled beeswax candles buy the sheet. I'm not sure that I've ever heard of anyone making their own sheets. As far as mixing and being hard enough on its own-yes beeswax is hard enough on its own--in fact its so hard that it is not recommended for container candles because such a large wick would be needed.
  8. I was recently told by a local college student that any warmer with a light bulb will be allowed in the dorms now since it is more like a night light than the warming plates or even combos. I need to located some at a decent price. I know that they are available at obi, levines, vista, and candles warmers.com Vista is doesn't have a minimum requirement but they only have the night light style, and I'm looking more toward the scentsy style. As anyone located more that are similar to theirs? Candle warmers only has 2 design with 3 colors in each. I have tried searching in every way that I can think of--tart/wax warmers/burners light/bulb..... thanks for any help you can give me, i'm just all searched out. lol

    Room Spray

That is somewhat my goal as well. I haven't tested any bases as of yet, just gathering information so far. I am wondering how the Kentucky Candle base is in comparison to the others. Does anyone know?
  11. I also use KY tart wax as part of my own blend. The shipping prices are great and quick too. I've never asked for a quote but I'm always surprised that its under what I estimate myself. The only thing I don't like is that I do not know when my package has shipped and this last time I ordered (this past week actually) one of the bags of wax was ripped open and spilled. Luckily it was not the tart wax or cleaning it up would have been near nightmare levels lol.
  12. I was thankful that it was my hosting account and not my admin area or my sql accounts. I kept telling the people over and over that I didn't understand why someone would choose my site cause I have very few customers online and none of purchased from the site. Maybe that is exactly why though because with little to no traffic no one would notice I guess. Oh well, my weekend will be full fixing it all back up.
  13. My hosting account with godaddy.com was hacked on Sunday. On Tuesday I received a phone call which I missed and an e-mail from the abuse department at godaddy.com The hackers had deleted my index.php page and had added a phishing page to collect credit card numbers from a bank in England that I being from Oklahoma have never heard from. I was told to remove the offending pages withing 24 hours or lose my hosting account. I of course removed the pages, and later the entire site since I wasn't certain that I had gotten everything. I am going to be setting everything back up in the next day or two (I made a backup before deleting). Here is my point though: change your hosting password often ! The first person I spoke with in the abuse department acted as though it was my fault even though I didn't put up the content. He said something to the effect that my hosting account was given to me in a secure manner and that it was my responsibility to keep it that way. Frequent and complicated password changes are the only way I know to do this so I as a suggestion to others--do the same.

    Sandle?

Not sure about play sand but would be interested to know. However, they haven't been talking about a wick and burning--these are sold for use with a candle warmer--no wick at all. If someone does know about the play sand ? I hope that they answer!
  15. Those are gorgeous colors. I think I'm gonna have to try some now. Lol
  16. Your comments don't offend me. I actually am not sure that I know what you mean by '2002'. I understand the keywords better now and will make appropriate adjustments. The header/logo isn't one that I entirely plan to keep--where I live we have a 'mountain' range called the Gloss Mountains, I've been taking pics and plans to place my business name in the clouds above the mountains. I didn't have problems with my large moniter at home, perhaps you could tell me what browser you were using. I'll have to think about the buttons/effects concern. And thanks for reminding me about the GWT. And thank you nursenancy!
  17. Please give me your opinions. I have temporary photos for many of my products which will be replaced with actual product photos. I am updating the stock levels of each item currently also. Thank you for your thoughts. www.heavenlycreationsoklahoma.com
  18. I believe that you can mix n match colors of the same type to get the min of 6. Without looking at the site: you could get 2 blue, 2 black and 2 red of the ceramic warmers. (i do not know if they even have these colors) to get the minimum requirement for that type of warmer.
  19. I've been thinking along the lines of farmerjill. Maybe it is not the scent of actual moonshine but a scent simply named moonshine. A scent named moonshine could also be moon beams, moon light, you get the idea. Or like she said hillbilly homebrew would give the idea of making moonshine but doesn't have the smell.
  20. To me it would stand to reason that the area which is directly on the heating pad would be hotter. Just like using a pan on your cook top--the botton is hotter than the sides. I use tins but label the lid not the tin because I don't want them getting direct heat.
  21. I received an e-mail very similar to this from the Miss Oklahoma pageant. I did not respond but did look at the site in the e-mail. Maybe someone else has actually done this.
  22. Great ideas, I already have an exacto knife but it hadn't crossed my mind for some reason.
  23. I have finally located some beeswax for a great price in my home state. I am wanting to know what tools a person would use to carve the luminary orbs? Maybe just a knife or a specific kind of knife or maybe it needs heated...I've thought of lots of different sharp and pointy things I can use but wanted to know what has worked. TIA
