  1. If your looking for a spicy Lemon you might try Lemon Spice from GL, I personally LOVE it!
  2. I highly recommend Aqua Spa from WSP, it's been my #1 seller in bath bombs for over 3 years. It may be a bit more expensive, but to me and ALL my repeat customers well worth the money. HTH, Beverly
  3. I also got in on the co-op and had some of these for my show a few weeks ago. And just in case you aren't aware, as yet.... just because it's an 8 oz container doesn't mean it holds 8 oz...mine weighed, were 5.6 oz of ingredients which was a mixture of dry milk powder and epsom salts and a few other ingredients. I only mentioned it because your label showed 8 oz ... ....but you probably already know that....:tiptoe: ....
  4. Who has the dup that IS STRONG for candles? I've read reviews on JS and Daystar and I'm not really hearing very good things? Is there one out there I haven't found that in a candle will be strong? I use a 50-50 blend wax. TIA, Beverly
  5. I agree with Fern on the Mediterranean Fig AND Snuggle Baby is my TOP selling baby scent!
  6. I recently ordered the Angel dup ULTRA concentrate and it's the BEST I've found yet. I've ordered several f/o's and I've been VERY happy with everything I've bought...BUT I think the key to that is I've ONLY bought the ultra and extreme concentrates.
  7. I started making candles because my favorites were Trapp Med. Fig and Henri Bendel Fig, I've been using KY's Med. Fig as it's really nice BUT not a true dup to Trapp, I also buy Fig Leaf from WSP for the Henri Bendel dup...again not a true dup but nice none the less. I will have to sample a few more from ya'lls list to see if it's a truer dup for Trapp's Mediterranean Fig. Glad this was posted
  8. My DH favorite is GL Maduro, my brother loves BCN Mountain Lake and I've sold Patchouli. I will be adding Mid Summer's Night as I just discovered it
  9. From my personal experience I'd never do it again..been there...done that!!! Because the store owner didn't have ANY respect for my product and her employee's AND herself lack of care for my product!!!
  10. Most of my bath bomb scents are from WSP and I rarely find one I don't love!!! Actually my number one selling bath bomb scent (3 years running) comes from them! Yes, the shipping is higher but to me the items I've ordered have been worth the extra...
  11. I count my blessings as we have a Libby Glass factory here with a storefront on site, and sometimes I'm REALLY lucky and find my glassware in the bargain room !!!!
  12. Thanks for the reply...darn why didn't I think of orange??? Next batch I will try that mix
  13. I've poured ; Starla Gingerbread Pumpkin Pie Maduro Cranberry Chutney Sage & Citrus Spiced Cranberry...... and have a whole LOT more to pour (show in 3 weeks), but most of the bath bombs are done !
  14. Hi, I've been busy pouring some fall scents for my show in a few weeks and I was just curious what color you use for Gingerbread? I mixed a Spiced Pumpkin with a brown and it's looking more on the brown side???? Thanks, Beverly
  15. I have it and love it....just wish it was a bit stronger...
  16. OR try an accountant, mine did ALL the paperwork and only charged me $25 which was worth it to me to not have to figure it all out, and now I'm legal. HTH, Beverly
  17. I am hoping for some advice on two particular scents....I am trying to mix my own Pumpkin Nog and Applesauce Gingerbread but I'm not really getting what I'd hope for by using the q-tip method. Has anyone on here been sucessful mixing these 2 scents? So far equal parts aren't giving me a good mix nor 2 to one? On the Applesauce Gingerbread I'm using a spiced apple with gingerbread, and the pumpkin nog, pumpkin and egg nog? Can someone here help me out? Is there another scent I should be adding? TIA, Beverly
  18. My DH is (HOPEFULLY) making my candle shelve's with the help of a cabinette maker, BUT as back up (you know how these men like to procrastinate) Big Lots has a book shelf for $10.00 which CAN be used if necessary.....I just thought I'd share this info.
  19. There are a few f/o's I'd like to purchase from TC but I can't figure out how to order them....do you only have the choice of calling them in or faxing? What am I missing here? TIA, Beverly
  20. The material I'm looking at @ Hancock's IS table cloth material which the sales lady says is wrinkle free and it's width is 60 inches, also I'm wanting solid black as I think that makes for a "Classy" looking table (I've noticed tables at other shows with the black table cover and really liked the look)....This particular show provides the table which is 6 ft x 3 ft, is that pretty much the standard? I hope so as I'm using that size to get my measurements and I called the promoter for measurements, (I went to Lowes and measured one that size so that I get the correct amount of yardage of material), I AM going to buy enough material so there IS a drop to the floor in front of the table. The material is $5.47 a yard. Also I want to point out the sheet I used last year I have also measured and it did have a front drop to the floor in front and partially in the back, I really would like the sides to also be to the floor so I will have to confer more with the sales lady at Hancock I guess, I WISH I had measured the table last year to be sure!!!! Because I live in the HOT south I don't intend on doing ANY outdoor shows unless it's in the cooler months of fall...provided we HAVE a cooler time in the fall! ! Using basic black I can add seasonal runners to add a punch of color and my DH is "supposed to" make my risers/shelves for my candles...hopefully he can see my vision and NOT procrastinate (sp) so they will be finished for my show??? I'm only doing the one table at this show to see if it will be worth coming back again next year....last years show unfortunately fell on the weekend President Bush "decided" to make the tax-free weekend so we didn't have a large number of people plus this show also has more to offer as there will be a outside car show plus childrens carnival rides, a pumpkin patch and childrens activities. My s-i-l and niece went to that show last year and said it had a huge turn out so here's HOPING!!!! There are ALOT of nicer shows around here and hopefully I can eventually be ready for those shows...it takes money to get all the necessary set-up's for those shows, back and side walls to divide your space, rent space, ect. I guess most of us start out on a smaller scale and work up. My son is working on some NICE signs for my acrylic frames with pricing, company name, contact info and such.....anything else I haven't considered? THANKS for ALL your replys and help!!!! Beverly
  21. Last years show I used a white sheet and then decorated with Christmas figures and such, I'm doing a Fall show in 3 weeks and want a much nicer table cover...what route do you go? Buy material and make your own or buy something ready made? Money IS a factor here....I've been looking at tablecloth material plus fall looking table runners at Hancocks and my Mom sew's???? TIA, Beverly
