  1. Ok, I DID use an online converter does this sound right???? 20 grams= 0.71 oz 30 grams= 1.06 oz 15 grams= 0.53oz?
  2. I'm about to place an order for some ingredients and I want to be sure to order enough to use for my recipe. The ingredients are listed in grams so could someone PLEASE help me convert the grams to ounces??? I need: 10 grams what amount would that be in ounces? I need: 30 grams-ounces? I need: 15 grams- ounces? I have tried using an online converter but it just confused me???? TIA, Beverly
  3. Is there something wrong with their shipping calculator??? I put 6 f/o's in the shopping cart totaling 10 oz and shipping charges are $10.00?????
  4. Pleasures for men and Kenneth Cole Black hmhmmhhmhmmh also Tuscany per uomo VERY HOT smelling!!!!
  5. WSSP has the Yan---dup of Sage & Citrus on sale 25% off, I've had a 2 oz bottle for awhile and JUST poured it and it's a really good dup in case anyone wants to get it on sale.
  6. I use the container blend and I have excellent hot and cold throw with most f/o's, alot depends on the fragrance oil's strength in my opinion. HTH, Beverly
  7. Would someone PLEASE post some recommendations here...I rec'd an email on special pricing on a new f/o I'm interested in (Island Sandalwood) and I'd like to know what else is good. I'm also interested in the Honey Patchouli, maybe Sahara??? TIA, Beverly
  8. If you like the unique type scents then Green Leaf is the place to go...I SO love their fragrances for that reason...here's what I poured Tuscan Patchouli- strong and somewhat manly Satin Sheets- (new to me) REALLY love this one, nice and strong Sarsen- LOVE...another Archipelago dup Polynesian Black Ginger- I was surprised how much I liked this one as Ginger usually isn't my thing. Magic of India- (again new to me) I personally really like this one even though some of you don't :rolleyes2 ! Also a couple of oob...Mulberry Spice- very nice..especially since I don't care for Mulberry Apple Cider- Another really nice, strong fall scent. And Brenda just added some MORE fall scents but you have to go through the message board.... (I think ) Beverly

Gardenia Petals ( I needed more, as this is REALLY selling for me) Magic of India (curious) Polynesian Black Ginger (new) Sarsen ( new & SO many raves on this one) Tuscan Patchouli (new) Satin Sheets As I rub my hands together.......I LOVE new f/o's !!! 10. Yikes is right......s...o...r...r...y.... :rolleyes2
  11. I bought an ounce awhile back from www.designeroils.com and it's an exact dup and NOT light....of course I can't remember how much it was or how much it cost in quantity. I just bought enough for a spray for myself. HTH, Beverly
  12. My son and his wife just had my first grandbaby (boy) in May and I bought the following f/o's to make and give them a candle in each scent as part of a shower gift. Baby Powder- BCN Baby Hugs- Snowtop Children's Room- NG Snuggle Baby- KY Baby Magic- JS Cherish- JS Now mind you my son looked forward to the Baby Magic the most as thats what I used on him as a baby.....BUT it wasn't strong enough, so out of ALL of them Baby Hugs was one of his favorites...... but it's Cherish he repeatly requests still ,although it's not a baby scent per se, but it easily fits that catagory. HTH, Beverly
  13. I agree about the Baby Magic, it's a dead on dup but light...so is the Cherish.
  14. Ok, I need someone here to tell me.... if I bought Gingerberrie Wreath would I still need a Gingerbread scent? I have some die-heart Gingerbread customer's and I've read good reviews on the Gingerberrie Wreath so will I need to stock both? ALSO I found a WONDERFUL Apple, Jack & Peel at SOS, how does JS Christmas Splendor compare? Are they close in scent? TIA, Beverly
  15. Sorryyyyy, I just went back and re-read under the topic heading and IT IS supposed to be like a thick cream..... hanging my head here as I tip toe off..:tiptoe: :tiptoe: .... Beverly:D
  16. Ok, so I SHOULD have asked BEFORE I started......but is this recipe supposed to be like a cream consistancy when it's ready to put in jars??? Making it RIGHT now???? ANYONE? TIA, Beverly
  17. I sent them an email and for 8-1 oz samples and 1 lb of M/P they want $7.00, so that IS somewhat better. Beverly
  18. Ok, After reading this subject matter I went and put 8- 1 oz samples and 1 lb of SFIC M/P shaving soap base in my cart and.......... WHAT... .... they want $10.25 for UPS OR $10.50 for priority???? I don't think so!!!!!! There are TOO many other GOOD suppliers that don't charge such HIGH shipping! As much as I wanted the Warm Orange Gingerbread I just can't afford the high shipping....... BUT I'm glad others can enjoy it Beverly
  19. One thing I've learned from fragrance oils and people in general is, What I may consider an awesome fragrance, the next person may hate. So with that being said, it's basically a mater of personal choice and customer comments on what they like. And after all if we are in business to make money (and who isn't) it's what our customers want that keeps us in business. So far as suppliers are concerned there again it's a matter of opinion but there are many excellent choices and if I HAD to choose I would say it's a toss up between BCN and NG for the multi choices they offer, but for a unique supplier I'd choose GL. I know I didn't really choose one....sorry. BUT I don't really have to...... in real life ! Beverly
  20. Ok, Now I am REALLY impressed with Save on Scents, I've bought my Apple Jack & Peel from several suppliers and I have to say SOS is the BEST, so strong and multi-layered with all the spices. I did buy the ultra concentrates. I also bought the Yank-me dup of Christmas Cookies, and WOW again, nice and strong. And last but not least I bought Jo Malone French Lime Blossom and it's an exact duplicate as I have the designer original and I can't detect one difference. I poured the Apple Jack & Peel and Christmas cookies in JSB 50-50 wax but I haven't burned them yet as they are still cooling down but I will definitely be buying more scents from SOS. Now Nature's Garden....because I had read several good reviews here on CT I bought a pound of Pumpkin Crunch Cake and poured and my S-I-L burned one and this is a definite GREAT fall scent, nice and strong and an excellent hot and cold throw, one candle filled 3 rooms! Now I'm waiting for all my .99 f/o's from BCN Beverly
  21. Angel-waxnscents ,which they are closing down Indonesian Teak-GL (MANY compliments when I wear it) Jo Malone French Lime Blossom-SOS (as soon as it gets here) Beverly
  22. I second the Just Scent JSB 50-50, I used the CB-135 and switched because of frosting, cure time, and I wanted a stronger scent throw. I have also heard great things about the GL 70/30 blend. Beverly
  23. Henryk, SO glad to hear about the Pumpkin Crunch Cake, as I ordered a pound without smelling it, it will be here tomorrow! I ordered it on faith from the good feedback on here! Beverly
